Works well. Compartments are not precise at two ends but good enough for the price.
Looks can be deceiving
Feels thin. Flimsy. Now sure yet how it will hold together. Looks nice. Clean but looks cheaply made.
Built Tougher Than a Two-Dollar Steak
Well now, I’ve been playin’ cards since the dust was still settlin’ on the Santa Fe Trail. I’ve seen every kind of chip case from creaky tin boxes to fancy leather contraptions that fall apart faster than a greenhorn’s bluff. But this one here? This beauty could make ol’ Doc Holliday himself tip his hat. The locks? Tighter than a banker’s smile on payday. None of that cheap latch nonsense — these click shut with a sound so sweet, it’s like hearin’ your opponent call “all in” with a losing hand. The foam up top? Top-shelf craftsmanship. Keeps those chips snug as a rattler in a boot. I can toss this case in the back of my wagon (or my Ford F-150, these days) and not a single chip shifts an inch. And the fit? Perfect. Decks slide in smooth, like a riverboat down the Mississippi. If you’re serious about your poker — or you just like the feel of good steel and solid build — this case’ll treat you right. Keep in mind this is just the case, and does NOT come with poker chips or cards, so don't get your bandana twisted when you open up an empty case. Decent case
This is a decent case. It's certainly not top of the line by any means, but it's decent. For a little background, I used to work (on the side) for a company that hosted free poker nights at local bars and restaurants as a means to bring customer in on slow nights. I would bring the equipment and be the tournament director. So I know quite a bit about moving around supplies like this. I had a couple of carrying cases for my chips and they eventually broke. It was a hard transparent plastic "box" case which in retrospect was probably more intended to be moved around inside of a home than between bars every night. Regardless, that one was a 500 chip holder like this one (and cost more than this) and I would have given it 3 stars. So in that regard, this one is a cut above the more expensive one if solely because that one put more stock in aesthetics than strength. Acrylic isn't going to hold up like this one will. This has a nice sturdy interior and a fairly sturdy exterior as well. It's decent looking and it holds 500 chips and a couple boxes of playing cards. This would be good for a single table game, maybe 2 or 3 tables depending on chip denominations. But that's pretty standard. I guess the one concern I have about this case is the single rivet on each side of the carrying handle. It feels fine right now, but how will it hold up over time? 500 chips are pretty heavy and it puts a bit of strain on the handle. This will probably hold up for a long time if you're just moving your chip case in and out of a closet or something for home games, but if you're carrying this around to friends' houses (or bars or something) I fear it may wear out and break. I would like to see a dual rivet on each side personally. But I have no issue with it right now having only used it for two games at a friends house so far, so maybe it'll be fine. Regardless, this is a pretty good value for what you get in this case. It does feel relatively well made (other than potentially the handle) a
