Colorful budget keyboard that ticks all boxes for everyday use

After my beloved first mechanical keyboard, the RK71, stopped holding a charge after four years, I began searching for a new keyboard with a larger battery and a compact, 70-75% layout for portability. The Redragon K673 MAX UCal Pro immediately caught my eye thanks to its impressive 4000mAh battery. After comparing reviews for the Ajazz Pro and Royal Kludge, I ultimately chose the Redragon as my second mechanical keyboard. The best part is that I haven’t needed to charge it for about a week—it’s remarkable. Switching between devices is seamless; I quickly paired the keyboard with both Ubuntu and macOS. I also discovered that the Fn+[ and Fn+] keys serve as "home" and "end," a feature not mentioned in the manual. This was a pleasant surprise, as I had missed those keys. I don’t plan to mod this keyboard, nor have I used the DragonPro software, since it doesn’t work on Wine/Ubuntu. Although the Redragon website states there is no macOS support, I have been able to pair and switch devices without any issues. The packaging included more accessories than I expected. I purchased the keyboard with Mambo custom linear switches in Moonrise Violet. Coming from the RK71’s brown switches, these linear switches feel completely different. They offer a clacky and flat typing experience, resulting in a more dampened sound compared to the clicky, spring-like feel of the RK71 keys, which I had enjoyed. Now, I truly understand the term "thocky." The keyboard is heavier, wider, and taller than I expected (see photos for comparison), but the keys are well-spaced. The RGB backlighting is vibrant, and the white shell makes it easy to find keys in low light, allowing me to turn off the backlight during the day. My only complaint is that the charging port is located on the side rather than the back. I recommend this keyboard to anyone looking for: 1. Long battery life 2. A 75% keyboard layout 3. The best aesthetic keyboard ever

Wow! Where do I start. This mechanical keyboard is a dream to use. It looks great all round and the irresistible creamy clacking leaves you wanting more. Truly captivating and satisfying. It has multiple modes of colour changes/sequences. 100% value for money. So easy to use. The knob function is for volume but chan be changed to something else. For connectivity, you can either use the cable provided or switch to Bluetooth instead. It may have WiFi but not 100% sure as I don’t need to use this. The keys can be changed and do come with some spares too. Would 1000% recommend!

High quality "thoccy" keyboard for a fraction of the price

I love this keyboard. These switches are similar to mx reds, but more thoccy. They are linear switches, so they don't have that "click" of other switches that tells you the key is pressed w/o being fully pressed down. I like the thoccy-ness of the keyboard. I got it on sale for about $45, and it is a great keyboard for that price point. The switches are quieter than CMX blues, browns, and similar to reds. The baseplate of the keyboard is heavy and feels sturdy. The keycaps are slightly rounded and i really like that :3 The knob on the top right is functional for volume and brightness controls. i usually use it for volume. The colors of the keycaps are very pretty as well :3 The battery life of the keyboard is amazing. I have charged it only once since receiving my item on June 4th (it's June 15th rn). I use the dongle connectivity and when I am done using my keyboard I switch it off. The rgb works well and there are many options on the Redgraon software. I do wish there was more customization for the rainbow and multicolored presets though :(( - My one "con" (although it's still a 5-star product) is that switching it off can be finnicky. The off/wired state is in the middle of the switch, with wireless dongle on the left, and bluetooth on the right (I'll attach a pic). Sometimes i accidentally switch it to bluetooth instead of off because of this. Overall, 5 Star product. Switches: 5/5, creamy/thoccy, linear switches (decently quiet) Keycaps: 5/5, rounded, very cute, and the color scheme works well RGB/Software: 4/5, many preset options but limited customization of the multicolored/rainbow patterns (no custom rainbows) Value: 5/5, a budget friendly high end keyboard.

Fantastic

Another great product from Redragon I game in my living room so the size was important and this is perfect for being handy whilst still being weighty and stable with a great feel Battery life is great, I use high power mode to get over the distance in my living room and interference from WiFi router and multiple devices etc. I feel it’s about 20 hours use and much longer when considering how long it sits there asleep. Probably charge every two weeks Only request would be the ability to nap the volume knob to say Discord volume but otherwise the keyboard is highly customisable Fantastic price as well!
