Simple to use
Very straightforward to use, although you have to install a random chinese software to customize the keyboard, everything else about it is decent for the price. Because it has an all-plastic construction, it will twist when you twist the keyboard.
Best bang for your buck!
Keyboard works as expected - only critique is the lights near the Caps lock, screen lock indicator lights, the backlight LEDs overpowers the little LEDs for the key lock indicators above the arrow keys. You can see the lights but you basically need to be directly above the keyboard looking down to see past the RGB colour. Overall doesnt effect the functionality of the keyboard but it is a quality of life upgrade that could be fixed easily in future models of the keyboard. For that reason 4/5 stars, but everything else is fantastic.
Very low end budget
The housing is a flimsy plastic case that I would not even call budget. The board does not even fit properly in the plastic shell the right hand side of the board sits lower than the left side. I thought things may have shifted during transport. Opening it up showed that everything is where it is supposed to be and it is just super, super budget. Quite disappointed, for AUD70.00, I was expecting a little more.
Okay for price
It's definitely not terrible for the price, but it flexes ALOT and feels very cheap. The software is also all in Chinese even if u select English. The rgb is also pretty poor especially at the price range. It's not very bright at all
Amazing Starter Board for Starting Enthusiasts
This is an amazing option for people looking to get into mechanical keyboards cheaply (or maybe something for their kids). It's obviously all-plastic but it comes with so many layers of padding that you can mix and match to your heart's content. In the attached image I've built mine out with some retro PBT double shot keycaps and Kailh Jellyfish Box switches. It's got a very clean, fairly thocky sound to it, and the overall typing experience is great. Another review mentioned the "cheapness" of the plate but seems to misunderstand: the board includes a plastic flex plate *which is supposed to be flexible by design*. I have a few other keyboards that don't have any kind of flex (or the gaskets like this one does) and didn't understand what a difference it would make, but having used the GTSP I'm now reconsidering a bunch of my other purchases. Admittedly, it only connects via a USB-C cord (no Bluetooth or wireless) but given the price point, I'm not going to complain. It's also got its own proprietary software for remapping the keys (and RGB), which I found pretty easy to use. Admittedly, the one shortcoming of the board is that while it lists a Mac option and has a switch on the back, I haven't had any luck in configuring the functionality on my Mac (nor an option to configure it for the Mac while using the PC software). The stabilizers are also great--they came pre-lubed and installed and are working perfectly fine. I don't have any gumminess or other indication that they were over-lubed. Again, I'll say that this is a terrific option for anyone who is curious about getting started with and customizing mechanical keyboards. It's a very simple design, but with all the layers of foam inside (and more room to customize if you want) it's an incredible opportunity to get into the hobby and play around with an actual board without worrying about spending so much money on the wrong barebones kit.
So far an excellent board.
This seems to be a modders dream so far. The board comes with foam in different layers throughout the board, as well as some space foam padders that make the space bar especially quiet. The stabilizers for the keys that take up multiple "units" seem to be good. Yes there is a bit of flex in the board, I know some have complained about that, but it doesn't seem to be bothersome. Overall this is great value for 30 bucks, all you need to do is get some key switches and caps and you're good to go! Which is the fun part of the build! I never understood why people have to pay more for a bare bones kit than a fully put together keyboard considering that the bare bones kit is missing Keycaps and switches. But this seems to be a really good value at a price point of 30 dollars. I know some have complained about some keys not working. I carefully inserted all the switches and every key works. I'll update this review in a couple months if anything stops working. Overall I'm very satisfied with this. I slapped some XDA PBT caps and Akko Creamy blues and the sound profile is moderate clack with thock as well. The foam provides way better sound dampening than my other keyboards that are just hollow.
