From a casual enthusiast POV: Works great!
The controller comes shipped in a box that also has it in a padded envelope for additional protection. Odds are amazon is likely to just toss this into a plastic bag and call it a day when shipping like mine was. Inside the box, you get the controller, instructions, USB cable, non-slip pads, extra switch, puller and a set of small black and red button covers to swap with the clear ones on the stick. While I'm a fan of fighting games, my reflexes aren't great, so all this is from a more of a casual players point of view. Unfortunately, I can't really provide much insight on lag and frame delay. All that being said, this is a great leverless controller. It's pretty solidly build and the buttons and response feel great. RGB lights are customizable through the GP2040 wbe cinfiguration. My previous controller was a SallyBox which is more portable, but felt cramped. It was also about twice as thick as this R16. The plexiglass was a little squeaky when I first got it, but I tightened and retightened the screws and now the noise isn't as bad. This controller is built on the GP2040 Raspberry Pi Pico board and was pretty easy to update following the instructions on the Haute42 website if you want to. I tested it on the PC, PS4 and Switch and all of them worked fine. Haven't tested it out on Android or PS3 (the recent firmware seems to allow it across more systems like Xbox One and PS5, but it needs a separate USB dongle). But overall, I like it.

Low-Profile Buttons FTW
This is my first arcade stick, and while I'm still learning the finesse and getting savvy with it, this thing is a total blast and a fighting game changer. I've played all the Mortal Kombat, Tekken, and Street Fighter games since I was a child and play them all across multiple platforms, so I am mad at myself for not trying something like this sooner. The low-profile buttons makes the presses feel instantaneous. All of the buttons are arranged in a way that makes sense and easy to wrap your head around. My only issue is fighting from the player two side, my left hand fingers have issue going from right to left with speed, but I am totally fine going left to right lol just a slight learning curve that I'm picking up the more I play with it. This also has different RGB light modes for the buttons, and are easily cycled through and you can adjust the brightness of each different setting. This does come at a bit of a premium, but I feel like its worth it, Nothing is cheap or broken about this, It even has a cool LED screen to show button presses, and didn't require any download or setup, it is legit Plug-N-Play. If you're looking for a competitive advantage in fighting games, this is certainly an effective option.

Well worth the price
I selected this lever-less arcade stick R16 by JZW-Shop for my husband who is an avid gamer and amateur content creator. He absolutely loves fighting games and is trying to test out new ways to play and improve his gameplay. He fell in love with the R16 immediately. It is compatible with both the PS4 and PS5 and is made from high quality acrylic. It's sturdy and durable. JZW-Shop is offering it for a great deal at $91.99 (which is the price at the time of this review) and I would recommend it to any gamer wanting to upgrade their skills.

Good build quality
The quality in this arcade stick is fairly remarkable for its build size. With some customization I could see this being the primary arcade stick I use. Its thin and looks pretty industrial with the hardware and transparent enclosure. I plan to make a custom insert for mine but the store should definitely make some and offer them to give people a nice drop in choice. Love the build. I primarily tested this on pc.
