A Huge Hit With My 10-Year-Old Grandson My 10-year-old grandson absolutely loved this figure. In fact, he chose this figure instead of receiving his usual Easter basket this year, so he had been looking forward to it for quite some time. One of his favorite features was that the hands can be changed out and the wings can be attached or removed, which gave him different ways to pose and play with it. He was easily able to attach the accessories himself (for reference, he does well with LEGO sets), and he had no trouble changing out the parts. The figure feels sturdy, well-made, and durable. What impressed me most was how excited he remained about it long after it arrived. He thanked me multiple times—not just on the day he received it, but over the following days and weeks as well. He told his cousin about it, called his dad to tell him about it, and even shared it with friends at school. This figure was more expensive than the toys we would normally purchase for Easter (hence it replaced his traditional basket), but based on my grandson's reaction, it was worth every penny. The fact that he was still talking about it weeks later—and that the toy is still holding up well months later—says a lot. As a grandparent, you always hope a gift will be appreciated. This one definitely was. If you're shopping for a Sonic fan, this figure was a big success in our family.
