Fast-Paced and Tons of Fun!
Silver Fang is such a fun and clever card game! It’s easy to learn but has just enough strategy to keep everyone engaged. The team play aspect adds a nice twist, and the artwork is great too. Perfect for family game nights or small groups — quick rounds and lots of laughs. Highly recommend for anyone who enjoys social deduction or party-style card games!
Great addition to the Silver series
With the addition of Silver Fang, there are now 6 games in the Silver series of games. If you're just getting started, you may want to begin with the first game in the series: Silver Amulet: https://www.amazon.com/Bezier-Games-SLVABEZ-Silver/dp/B07QNNCCQG/ That said, all of the games in this series can be played as a standalone game. This set is NOT an expansion. However, the cards in each set can be combined to create new variations, so there is some fun in combining the sets. All the games in the Silver series have similar rules. Players begin with 5 cards in front of them that represent the people in their village. Unfortunately all our villages are infested with werewolves, represented by the number value on each card (i.e. A card with the number 9 means that villager attracts 9 werewolves). At the start of the game, all 5 cards are face down, and players choose any 2 cards to turn face up. So you begin with limited knowledge of how many werewolves are in your village. As you play, you'll draw more cards and use them to activate special abilities that will allow you to learn more about the people in your village and either use their powers or swap them out for cards with a lower value (meaning fewer werewolves in your village). The person with the fewest werewolves in their village at the end of the game wins. An individual round usually takes about 10-12 minutes to play, and the game is meant to be played over 4 rounds. To play effectively, you need to make the best use of the peoples' special abilities, take some calculated risks, and maintain a good memory of all your cards, since some of them will likely remain face down throughout the game. High quality production, but gameplay mechanics need work.
I will start by saying that we a re a big board game family so I'm pretty picky about the games I actually like. The game is well made with attention to detail. I love the artwork and the quality of the cards and the metal token. It's also a great size to store or to take with you on a camping trip. However, the gameplay seemed overly simple yet also difficult to learn. We were disappointed that there aren't any werewolves in the game. With a few tweaks, this could be a really neat little game but as it stands it seems more like a math game that's lacking mechanics to make it fun. It is a great value for a well produced game, if you're looking for something quick and simple.

Ok so this is the second pack of these I've gotten and we're getting kindof obsessed. We also have the Silver Eye set and like seriously a lot of love went into making these. The art work is awesome and the game set up is super workable for young players. I love getting organizers included because we try to have our 12 year old manage the game cabinet and sometimes it's a losing battle when theres a bunch of loose pieces. This works as a standalone game or in combination with others from the series. I really appreciate that you don't HAVE to have the other sets but that they just complement each other and help keep you from getting used to what you're going to pull next. Others mentioned there can be issues with the memory aspect of the game with facedown cards but I actually feel like that's a great mechanic that also just stretches your brain to try a little harder without being complicated.
