Challenging 3d puzzle for a novice but rewarding when done
For context, I have done 2 other 3d puzzles before this one. I don't do any craft style hobbies. I tend to be a dabbler. This 3rd 3D puzzle started off on a bad foot because my first impression receiving the box was, *really? This wafer thin box is the whole puzzle?". My previous 2 puzzles of this type came on thick hefty boxes and were pretty weighty. To be fair, this is a much simpler finished design. There isn't a lot to a Ferris wheel even in real life. Though I have to say that the boards that contain all the pieces are much thinner and more flimsy than my previous 2 builds. It was pretty obvious that I was going to have to be very delicate removing and assembling the parts. I knew from my limited experience that "no glue needed" was a fairy tale and I was right. Technically I could have done it without glue but I would have been very unhappy with the unstable results. For me part of the fun was using some small tongs , tweezers and an exact-o knife to remove all the parts without breaking any. It was like playing the old board game "operation". Good, nerve racking fun. Once you have all the pieces free and sorted it becomes a sort of assembly line production for the most part but that was still fun. I was a bit intimidated by the whole music box and rubber band mechanism aspect because I'd never dealt with that before (previous 3d puzzles were just static models). It turned out to be no problem at all. It was really satisfying to set this thing going when it was done. I thought it was a nice touch to include little storage boxes on each side but the model is so fragile that you don't want to use them because you'll be shaking and moving the puzzle each time and that will work loose the parts especially if you went they"no glue" route. Just my personal opinion. I'm conflicted about the natural wood coloring vs having decal overlays on the parts or even painting it myself. As time passes, I find myself appreciating the bare wood look more and if I'm being honest

Bricht leicht, Anleitung schlecht leserlich
Die kleinen und dünnen Teile lösen sich schlecht aus der Vorlage (die großen gehen ganz gut). Je weiter der Arbeitsfortschritt, umso unübersichtlicher wird die Anleitung und umso schlechter halten die Teile zusammen. Die Anleitung an sich ist schon sehr klein und schlecht zu lesen. Manchmal erkennt man nicht, wie die Teile genau angesteckt werden müssen. Dort wo gesteckt werden muss, hält es teilweise nicht ordentlich, daher muss geleimt werden oder auch, weil die Teile abbrechen. Alles in allem sind wir recht unzufrieden mit dem Kauf.
