tube attachment for the light (required battery size & specs)
I bought two of these flashlights and I love them so much that I also got the tube attachment and the headlight attach I saw that the tube attachment allows you to put a bigger battery in there, allowing longer battery life. sadly, the tube attachment doesn’t come with an extra battery or a battery that fits with the tube attachment. you would need to get a… lithium ion battery 18650 3.7 V 2.0 AH 7.4 WH copy and paste that into the Amazon search bar and it should bring you up the exact battery size for this attachment if you’re looking to buy a few find one with the battery station, so you could charge him and have some for spare I did not buy these batteries from Amazon. I actually got it from an old Hoverboard battery that had 10 cells in them. and luckily, those were the exact specs I needed for this attachment. hope this helps!
Problem with extension tubes
I bought two extension tubes so I could use the 18650 batteries with my two E7 flashlights (Which are great flashlights). After installing the extension tubes and the 18650 batteries the flashlights works as normal, but if you gently tap the base like you would when attaching to a magnetic surface, the light goes off. Every single time, with both flashlights and the tube and base cap tightened to different tightness. The 18650 batteries that I had are button tops, so I grabbed some flat tops thinking maybe that might make a difference but it didn't help at all. Could be I need to use Wuben brand batteries, but it sucks that they are not working with the fairly standard 18650 batteries that work in all my other flashlights that use them.
Does not line up with flashlight.
It's a good addition but they did not measure tge threads correctly. When installed it is clocked at a 45 degree angle. It does not line up flush with the design of the flashlight. I fixed it by sanding off just a little bit of the threaded end. Don't sand too much or the battery wont fit.
