Blinded by the Light: An Exceptionally Powerful Little Camping Companion
As someone who spends a lot of time outdoors, finding a reliable everyday carry light is essential, and this flashlight stands out immediately for its sheer power. When you crank it up to the highest turbo setting, it easily outputs up to 1500 lumens, which is enough to illuminate a whole tent or cast a wide beam down a dark path. The reach of the beam is impressive, stretching out over 130 meters ahead. You do need to be incredibly careful not to shine it toward other people because it is genuinely blinding at peak brightness. Fortunately, you do not always have to use that maximum blast. The light features multiple brightness settings, down to a tiny 1 lumen ultra low mode that can run for weeks, which is incredibly handy for reading in your sleeping bag without disturbing anyone. What really sets this model apart is the triple color temperature feature. Being able to toggle between a piercing cool white, a balanced neutral white, and a soft warm white is a game changer for camping. The warm white option drops the maximum brightness slightly to 1000 lumens, but it is much easier on the eyes at night and creates a cozy, relaxed ambiance inside a tent. While the official description highlights this as a lightweight 2.47 ounce pocket light, its extreme brightness and high power consumption mean it can run hot on turbo mode, which might surprise users expecting a cooler performance from such a compact frame. However, knowing I have that massive wall of light available makes me feel much safer when I am alone outdoors. The bundle comes well-equipped with a convenient lanyard for secure carrying, a sturdy belt clip, and a built-in battery that charges via USB-C. Cheaply made
Im a huge fan of nitecore , I buy almost every new flat edc they come out with but this edc07 is very underwhelming, the main issue is the button that changes the output and color temps had to be pushed multiple times to get it to work and was very unresponsive in general , in all this just felt like a very cheaply made light and one of nitecores worst in the edc line

A Quality, Flicker-Free Pocket Light with a Solid Driver. Missing: true moonlight mode
If I could give 4.5 stars, that is where this device would sit. A true sub-lumen moonlight mode would have easily earned it a full 5 stars, but this is an otherwise exceptionally solid light. This is a highly practical, pocketable Everyday Carry (EDC) light that features a straightforward interface, smart physical design choices, and excellent regulation circuitry. Most importantly, this flashlight utilizes a genuine buck/boost driver circuit to control brightness. I recently evaluated a competitor light that looked nearly identical on the outside, but it relied on cheap Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) to handle dimming. PWM rapidly flickers the emitter on and off to mimic lower brightness levels, which can easily induce eye strain, motion artifacts, or headaches during extended use. This light delivers a completely solid, flicker-free beam. Don't be fooled by cheap exterior lookalikes; having a high-quality regulated driver under the hood is a massive performance win. The flashlight ships with a lanyard and a charging cable, refilling easily via a built-in USB-C port. The physical interface relies on two distinct buttons: a dedicated tactical clicky switch on the tailcap for on/off functions, and a separate mode electronic switch on the top side of the body to cycle through output levels. It cycles through four primary brightness steps, with the highest setting outputting a potent amount of light. Digging into the manual reveals a couple of hidden firmware features, including a toggle to adjust the light's color temperature—a neat addition, though of limited everyday utility—and an "ultralow" feature. The beam profile itself is decidedly floody, featuring a massive, soft central hotspot that smoothly transitions into a wide spill. This makes it ideal for illuminating large immediate areas, working on tasks under a sink, or taking an evening walk. Pretty good
The Nitecore EDC07 is an impressive little flashlight that packs a surprising amount of performance into a slim, pocket-friendly design. Comes in 2 colors and for a military guy like me tan is cool. The 1,500-lumen output is more than enough for everyday tasks, and the ability to switch between cool, neutral, and warm white light is a feature you don't often find in lights this size. The flat profile makes it comfortable to carry, while the rechargeable battery eliminates the hassle of constantly replacing cells. Build quality feels solid, and the included charging cable is a nice bonus. If there's a downside, it's that the high-output modes can drain the battery quickly, but that's expected from a compact light pushing this much brightness. Overall, it's a versatile and well-thought-out EDC flashlight that balances power, portability, and convenience. I do like the battery indicator lights. That's an awesome feature. The price is a little high for a non magnetic flashlight.

The small but very mighty portable flashlight!
I really like this small flashlight! I was looking for something small yet powerful that is easy to carry with me and this is perfect! It is really lightweight which is a nice bonus. The flashlight is very compact yet seems to be sturdy. It has several options for brightness and I was very impressed with how bright the highest setting is! When coming home at night it can be fairly dark so I am glad to have this handy to safely navigate inside. It is also great when walking to your car at night. And the extra bright light is a nice bonus feature. It is rechargeable with the included USB cables and seems to have good battery life. You can also use it to read on the lower light setting which is nice. I really like this flashlight and will likely get more as gifts! Overall this is a nice design for a small flashlight. It is very sturdy and has a range of brightness settings with the highest setting really powerful. It is lightweight and easy to recharge. It has a clip to carry or you can attach a lanyard.
