CRKT Redemption Everyday Carry EDC Pocket Folding Knife

The CRKT Redemption is more than just a pocket knife—it’s a statement of quality. From the moment you open the box, you can feel the attention to detail. The blade arrives razor-sharp and holds its edge beautifully, making everyday tasks effortless. The action is smooth and reliable, snapping open with confidence every time. The grip is thoughtfully designed, fitting naturally in the hand with a balance that feels secure whether you’re opening packages, working outdoors, or handling small precision tasks. What sets this knife apart is the combination of rugged durability and refined craftsmanship. It’s built tough enough to handle daily use without compromise, yet sleek enough to appreciate as a piece of design excellence. Every element—from the blade finish to the lockup—shows CRKT’s commitment to making a tool that performs and lasts. If you’re looking for an everyday carry that blends practicality, reliability, and style, the Redemption delivers on all fronts. It’s the kind of knife you’ll reach for again and again, and each time it reminds you why you chose it. Highly recommended.

Made with Aloha!

One of the nicest knife’s I own. Like the dagger style, (spear point, as daggers are illegal to carry here) the hefty long feel, and backstory of a gamblers deadman style knife. The bearings are super smooth and flips out with ease. As most point out “like butter” is a fitting description. Fit and finish is fine, way better than a few comparable priced knives I own. An arm swing down with a wrist flick up will open this knife with a snap. Comments of the bar lock sticking is very minimal if noticeable at all. No problem here. Modern magna-cut steel, G10 scales are all nice and found on more expensive knives. Feels sturdy and functional. The rear slide lock bar is smooth compared to others I have. A push button would be easier but read it is not as strong? No lanyard hole, (maybe ruin the look) so slipped one on through the hole on deep clip. This is a long knife and have it in a leather slip case (prob made for pens?) The lanyard helps me pull it out, and if kept all the way in pocket. Lanyard is easy to remove as loop goes in hole on clip and flips over clip to hold firm. I’ve found that I can slip lanyard over ring finger and hand will not slide up. My second Ken Onion designed knife I have. (Closest I will get to a custom made knife.) Got to see his backstory, a legend in the middle of the Pacific. I live in Hawaii (Hawaii Island) so there is an automatic connection there. I did use this knife, fresh out of the box, at a luau (BBQ) to cut a steak. Again, cut “like butter.” Wasn’t my first choice but that’s all I had, and did the job well. Forget plastic knives. It’s a large and long feeling knife, a bit much to pull out at a party, but will be appropriate in a different situation! Often refer to this knife as my adult fidget toy, mostly when I get looks, flipping it in and out!!

Quality on Point

Fit and finish on point. No blade play. Very satisfying action.

It's big Tactical not really a daily carry. It's not got break if used

It's a nice knife. Wish it had has a spring load for the price but it's definitely put together well and it's got a really thick blade so not gonna break for the could of been a little better clip. It's smooth action. Definitely a self defense knife or tactic it's not a everyday carry unless you want a big knife in your pocket. Like I said its a good knife

It is a well made knife its worth it

It is hair popping sharp and opens with next level smoothness. It is huge but not heavy like you would expect. The pictures dont do it justice honestly it is elegant and rugged at the same time and i dont think i have a knife i like more. It may not be a wood splitting axe knife like some people think all knives should be but it is more than capable of doing knife stuff. At the end of the day its a well made knife and is worth the price.
