Great and beautiful guitar for the price.
This IYV IP-350 is an incredible value for under $240. The finish looks great and uncommon. Although, you can tell it’s not an expensive guitar finish, there are no particular flaws or defects. If you know how to do final polish, you can make this guitar really shine. I like the scale length, right in the middle of Fender & Gibson. The neck is probably my favorite part other than the overall look of the guitar. It’s pretty thick, not vintage Gibson baseball bat thick, but certainly not a slim taper that is the bane of my guitar shopping as I have fairly large hands. It was very much playable as is. The neck width is pretty much in line with Gibson/Epiphone measuring 43.63mm at the nut, which is only 0.02mm narrower than my Gibson Les Paul. The strings were even worse than most inexpensive guitars. If there is a place to cheap out on a guitar it’s strings, pickups, and tuning gears since that is what most guitar players are likely to change at some point whether it’s needed or not lol. The hardware is pretty good, the pickups actually sound great for clean or light overdrive, but are quite microphonic at high gain overdrive/distortion. As I mentioned before, no big deal, they do the job and are easy to replace later. Overall great guitar for the price, good for beginners (though this may vary depending which one you get), but especially good for experienced players that can do basic work on guitars and just want another style, color, scale length, pickup configuration, etc…like we really need an excuse to get a new guitar right!

cool guitar, but faced an issue with volume knob.
cool guitar with awesome playability had a blast using it, but after 10 months of usage i thought the pick ups stopped working. when i first picked the guitar the sound would completely die when i leaned the guitar in a certain way so i thought it was some wiring issues but turns out it was an issue with the volume knob not working probably i had to twist and fiddle with it for a while until everything went back to normal :)

A must buy for everyone's collection
The playability at this price point is just superb. Yes, the electronic hardware, tuners and action can be improved but these are easily tweaked/replaced. Very happy that they put most of the effort into the neck and alignment giving us a superb playing guitar (also the hardest to fix). In summary, this is an excellent playing and sounding guitar which i'd happily go live with. Those that demand cosmetic perfection for the price point are dreaming and misplaced.

A Truly Lovely Guitar -- and This in Every Way. (with Update)
Been playing, both pro and for myself, over 60 years. Started out as a Gibson guy (and still own quite a few), but these days I am looking to IYV. The "why" of this is exemplified in this guitar. It is a total winner. The basic design, right down to the 25 inch neck scale, is PRS. But IYV added a few of their own touches -- both "practical" and esthetic. Two quick examples: The string thru body design. Staggered so as to equalize string length, downward pitch and string tension. Works and looks wonderful. And then there's the binding. Beautifully applied -- and beautiful! Maple instead of the standard (boring) celluloid. Love it! The transparent black finish is just that -- not greenish at all on my guitar. And revealing the rich flame of the maple veneered body. Totally gorgeous. The PUPS are classically voiced humbuckers. Ones that bring out the sweetness of an amp more than its grittiness. Some here speak of a thousand little flaws on their instrument -- possibly signs of it being carelessly handled before they received it. Mine didn't suffer from that at all. It is simply lovely. Set up was pretty good out of the box. Certainly good enough for a learning player. But I prefer light to heavy (9-46) strings, and those made of pure nickel rather that the more piercing sound of today more commonly used strings. Set up to compensate was quick and easy. And she holds tuning beautifully. (I did slightly tighten the tension of the "B" string tuner -- this via the adjustment screw there for that purpose.) In simple words I could not be more pleased with this guitar. And highly recommend it to anyone, be they a newbie or (like me) a long-time player. * * * * * Okay, here it is one full month later. The first "it's new!" buzz has worn off. How has my enthusiasm for this guitar, expressed above, held up over time? Answer: It has increased. Yes, after not just daily playing for over thirty days, but stiff A/B-ing of this guitar with several far more expensive one has elevated
