Best Ive ever used. No joke.
I shoot a lot. These are the best headphones Ive ever used. Let my friends try it and they instantly ordered their own. I can be 300 yards away from my chickens and hear them scratching away but ever gun shot (I use a 45-70) is 99% muted. Incredibly and worth ever single penny. $50 is an insane price too. Tech like this used to be $200-$250.
Best range headphones on the market
Microphones work great. The slim profile is nice as it doesn't interfere with cheek weld as much as the bulkier ones. They're also very comfortable to wear at the range for a full day of instruction.
Well made and have good protection
I bought the Walker Razors for indoor/outdoor range shooting. I like the volume control and hearing capability. If surrounded by larger rifles and such, I throw in some ear protection inserts first and then put the Razors on over the top. That seems to be a good combo for me. I don't want my ears ringing or worse yet, eardrums damaged. The fit is a bit tight, but I suppose that's really what you want for maximum protection. Last bit of advice; I purchased the gel pads and replaced the original pads. They are more comfortable with the gel, but not a deal breaker if you don't want to spend the extra $20. Overall, very satisfied with my purchase.
Rest side uncomfortable.
The product is exactly as advertised. It quickly and on time. I use the device for Trap & Skeet Shooting. The only discomfort with the devise is just like other "over the ear" muffs for hearing protection when shooting and that is the muff on the ear side which I rest my cheek on the comb of the gun stock always tends to slike up and off of my ear. It does not matter what or how I adjust my cheek on the comb or how I adjust the muff on my ear. I wish Walker would come up with an in-the-ear device just like Axil that works exactly like the over-the-ear muff.
Good
