Ear protection while still being able to communicate
My whole life I've only ever used your standard over ear or in ear protection at the range. These were a nice change given that you can easily communicate with people around you but you still have ear protection on. They're easy to use and the volume is easy to control. They seem to be well constructed and they were comfortable for me to wear for a couple hours. That being said.. Noise cancellation and what audio you hear is all done through a mic and speaker. The result of this is a weird sounding world. It isn't anything to be worried about and you get used to it fairly quickly, but listening to the world through a speaker isn't the same experience as actually hearing it. Overall though I am happy with the product and will make them my main hearing protection at the range.
