It didn't work after a few tries.
Despite multiple attempts, the functionality was not achieved, yet it remained user-friendly.

Einfaches und gut funktionierendes Echolot.
Empfehlenswertes Echolot welches man mit einer Angelrute auswerfen oder mit einem Boot schleppen kann. Funktioniert mit Smartphone und Tabletts, egal ob iOS oder Androiden. Das Wurfgewicht ist ca 75 Gramm. Sehr einfache Inbetriebnahme und gute Anzeige der Messwerte.
Funciona, pero...
Parece sólido, se conecta bien al teléfono, da una imagen clara con indicaciones de posición, profundidad y temperatura... Pero duró diez minutos. A partir de ahí comunicó que la sonda no estaba activa y fue imposible reactivarla. No me esperaba esto de una marca como Garmin. Estoy en trámites para su devolución. Debo añadir que solicité de Amazon la sustitución por otra sonda igual y la respuesta fue inmediata: a los dos días tenía la sonda nueva y en esta ocasión Sí funcionaba correctamente. También quiere comentar que he comprobado que la cartografía incorporada para la utilización del GPS es muy elemental y que no hay posibilidad de incorporarle otra cartografía más avanzada. Pero la función de sonda funciona perfectamente. Por último, estoy teniendo problemas con la devolución de la primera sonda averiada: MailBox no reconoce el código de barras que me enviaron para la devolución, así que no me admiten el paquete. Temo que se agote el plazo de devolución y me acaben cobrando dos sondas. Y no son baratas.

I tested the Garmin Striker Cast at small ponds and local city and state park lakes, and it’s actually useful for mapping underwater structure and detecting fish depth from shore. The sonar connects to your phone and helps reveal contours, holes, and strategy areas that you normally can’t see from the bank. One important thing is to cast carefully and use stronger braided line because losing this in trees or heavy cover would not be fun. Also, keep it charged and plan ahead before fishing trips. For shoreline anglers, it’s a pretty interesting fishing tool.”
