Frontier personal item slayer
Frontier doesn’t stand a chance against this backpack. Easily beats their personal item size checker. I fit 8 shorts, 8 t shirts, 7 pairs of socks, one long sleeve shirt, 2 board shorts, sunglasses, flip flops, and water shoes. Perfect bag for will long trips to Playa del Carmen or Cancun. People in Minneapolis were getting pulled aside at the gate and checked but I easily slipped by without drawing any attention. Minneapolis gate agents only were checking people with obviously oversized personal items. I saw several backpacks that looked too big go past unchecked. Update 2/20/24 My bag went past gate agents unchecked on my return from Cancun. No one was pulled aside by Frontier gate agents and size checked. Today I’m flying Sun Country. My bag just passed their sizing bin. It fits a little tighter the long way since Sun Country only allows 17” long not 18” like Frontier but the bag fits with a little friction. Sun Country allows 9” thick instead of 8” like Frontier so it easily fit in that dimension without having to compress it. I’ve added another photo of the size in the Sun Country blue bin too.
