An amazing visual improvement. Excellent quality. Love the app controls

This is a great quality reed lamp that is very well suited for salt water and freshwater setups. With adjustable spectrum, real time daylight simulation that provides accurate par curves, output frequency, and detailed dispersion of lighting parameters. All available and adjustable through the app. Which itself is incredibly well rounded for basic or advanced users. And while I am currently using it on my freshwater aquarium with African cichlids, I can honestly say that it is almost too good for my set-up. As far as the amount of adjustments, analysis and content that this allows. I can see how it would make a huge benefit for saltwater aquarium with live coral and the vibrant colors associated with saltwater systems. Although I am very proud of my aquarium and it's contents. My fish are as healthy and happy as can be possible. Thanks to the high-end system attachments that I have on it. Including this lamp now. The color And depth that is portrayed with this lamp is absolutely unparalleled. Especially where the automated lighting is concerned. I no longer need to have separate system timers for my lights. And although my previous lamps are app controlled. Their ability to provide an accurate, well balanced lighting that better resembles truer daylight spectrums as well as night environment effects that mimic moon phases, sunlight variations and more. From the mounting hardware, transformer, and the actual lamp housing, to the functionality of the system right out of the box. This lamp shows top quality in every aspect. And set-up over my 110g freshwater aquarium, it gives a beautiful wide path that covers edge to edge with a surprisingly excellent ability to enrich the detail and eliminate shadows inside the water environment. And even with the lighting I had previously over my fish before, being very decent quality. I thought it was excellent before. But after seeing how this improved the appearance and health of my aquarium this past month, I am sold even more o

Dark spots

No too bright for a reef tank. I have a 20 gallons 24” and it leaves a lot of dark spots. It needs more blue.

Great value for an adjustable, bright LED fixture for fish tanks

Highly Tunable Reef Light with Great App Control but a Questionable Mount

This light clearly understands reef tanks better than most people understand their own sleep schedule. The level of control you get is excellent, and it shows in how well it can support different coral needs. The biggest strength is the lighting control. Through the app, you can fine-tune individual color channels and dial in the exact spectrum your reef needs. Whether you want a natural day-to-night cycle or a fixed PAR setup, it gives you the flexibility to do both without fighting the interface. The app itself is actually good. Setup is simple, controls are intuitive, and programming schedules or intensity changes is easy. For once, you’re not stuck wondering what button does what or why nothing is responding. Light quality and coverage are strong. The LEDs are bright, and the spread is wide enough to cover the tank evenly instead of blasting the center and ignoring the edges. That means more consistent growth and healthier corals across the entire reef. Design is clean. The LED panel covers give it a polished look, and it doesn’t feel like a clunky piece of equipment hanging over your tank. Now for the part that makes you question the engineering choices. The mounting system is… not great. It seems designed mainly for rimless tanks, so if you have a rimmed setup, you may run into fit issues. On top of that, the way the light is secured relies on small screws that don’t go very deep. It holds, but it doesn’t inspire confidence, especially when you’re dealing with something hanging over water and expensive livestock. Installation can be a bit frustrating because of that, even though everything else about the light is well thought out. Value for the money is still strong. The lighting performance and control features are excellent, but the mount design feels like a weak point on an otherwise high-quality product. Nice light, not fan of mount

Nice reef light! The app control is a standout feature- it makes programming the timers and adjusting the light intensity incredibly easy and intuitive. I was especially impressed with the excellent controls, which give you the ability to fine-tune different colors to get the spectrum exactly where you want it. I also really like the unique panels used to cover the LEDs; it gives the unit a very clean look. However, I did run into a few issues during installation. First, the mount seems to be designed primarily for rimless tanks; it wasn't large enough to fit properly on my rimmed setup. I was also a bit concerned with how the light attaches to the stand. Almost the entire weight of the light is supported by two very small screws that only go in about 2cm. While it’s holding for now, it feels like a bit of a disaster waiting to happen if it were to slip. Overall, this is a very high-quality reef light with fantastic controllability, but the mount definitely has some design flaws that could use improvement.
