Definitely a must have accessory for the slate
Solid build quality, excellent fit, and finish. I love the fact that it is adjustable to control heat for what you’re warming. It slides right onto the griddle no hassle and it’s somewhat affordable for something with a Weber name on it. I like the fact that it has slots in the front But not all the way to the back so you can put little stuff up there without losing it through the grate. I made cheesesteaks for our large family fried up some diced peppers and onions, and then scoop them up and put them on the rack I kept them warmwhile I filled the whole griddle with ribeye for the cheesesteaks and as people wanted Peppers and onions in their steak, I would just take a scoop with my spatula from the rack and throw them in very convenient. It is also very easy to clean. The only downside I have with it is that it’s pretty deep it can make cleaning your griddle and scraping the back corners a little tough, but because it can come on and off so easily you could always just pop the warming rack off to clean if you wanted to or you could just pop it off if you didn’t need it and wanted to make access to the back corner of the griddle’s a little easier for your particular cook that day. You will not be disappointed with this purchase.
