inconsistent scans
scans the same QR code differently each time. Did not try for normal barcodes but tried different QR codes it is just not usable, unfortunately. Would have been a great tool. Will definitely buy it again if it is improved.

Very good product
Performance is good and scans codes fast but using it as finger ring is not very comfortable and makes it difficult to position properly to scan codes.

Nice and cheap
This is a great 1D barcode scanner. I started selling books on Amazon and many people suggested to buy Opticon and KDC brands but both are selling for over $200. No need to waste your money, this scanner is much cheaper, smaller and easier to use. Not having to hold the scanner in hand is absolutely amazing because now you can have two free hands. I even use it when I'm listing books on the computer, I can easily type with the scanner on my finger. Top features: - light and small - Can be used on right and left hand. The head rotates 180 degrees. - Good battery life - leaves your hands free - connects to the phone instantly - Instant barcode scans - Comes with a dongle for PC and can be paired to the dongle quickly - Check the battery status by scanning a barcode in the manual - turn on and off the sound and vibration. - add prefixes to scans - ability to store barcodes in the memory If this review helped you then click on the "Helpful" button :)

This scanner is highly recommended
TLDR: This model works well. It’s very lightweight, tiny, and sturdy. It does everything that I can think of that you may want it to. It can scan conventional barcodes and QR codes and is highly customizable to work with just about any application. Scanning is extremely fast and reliable. Packaging: It comes in a generic cardboard box, not fancy retail packaging (if giving as a gift). But everything is neatly packed and sufficiently protected. Assembly: It does come in a bunch of different pieces that need to be assembled. It’s quick to do once you figure out what all the pieces are and how it goes together. The manual is a typical black and white line drawing style so it’s a bit confusing to follow the assembly portion. I would just recommend pulling up the pictures from this Amazon listing and it will make much more sense than the instructions. No tools are required and you should be able to put it together in less than 60 seconds. Battery: I did not test the charge level straight out of the box so I’m not sure how charged it came, but I plugged it in and a couple hours later when I looked, it was fully charged. Battery life has been very impressive. I suspect it should easily last a whole 8-hour work day for most people. Pairing: Bluetooth pairing is quick and easy. Just flip the switch and press either of the trigger buttons and it is ready to be discovered. Then on your device, scan for nearby Bluetooth devices and you should see “EY-027”. Once selected, the pairing took less than a second and it was ready to go. Scanning: I tested a variety of traditional barcodes and QR codes and had no trouble consistently scanning them. Regular barcode scanning is so quick that it can probably read 3-4 barcodes every second. QR code scanning was slightly slower, maybe 1-2x in one second.
