Tiny but mighty
I originally purchased this to take with me when my husband and I take trips to float on the river and other outings. This is a solid cooler! The fabric is thick and it's well-made. It keeps drinks cold. It travels well; easy to put on as a backpack. It's compact so easy to carry. The zipper seals well, that lid is on tight. I would buy this again. Great value for the money.
I love the concept of the backpack cooler but I wish the dry section was bigger
I love the concept of the backpack cooler. My only issue is I wish the dry section was bigger. I have used it several times and had no issues. If I am in the road during two meal times, I will have to use some of the space up top to make the cooler work for multiple meals.
Nope, don’t do it!
Trust me, not the review from the “ Amazon Vine Customer Review of Free Product”. I had high hopes for this cooler backpack. I have an igloo it holds more but condensation builds on the outside like it was dipped in the ocean. It makes your back soaking wet. So, I purchased this one looking for something better. It’s slightly better but I’m in the sense that condensation doesn’t accumulate on the outside. Took it to the beach just like the other one…let me start with the initial car ride. I put it in the trunk from my house to pick up a friend. It took approximately 20 minutes to get to the friend’s house. The cooler had turned over and was leaking. It was user error though, because the zipper had a the smallest crack. But it still puzzled me as to how much ice melted in that short amount of time considering you’re supposed to be able to put the top down and not zip it. Speaking of the zipper. You really can’t skip upper body work outs and operate this zipper. The zipper is haaaarrrddd! Now for the most important part…on no day can you fit 24-36 cans of any thing in this cooler. I tried with the mini 8 ounce cans and still could only fit about 10 and that’s with zero ice. With minimal ice I could fit a few cans a of coke 3 buzz balls and two bottles of cayman jacks. The other bottom separate container is nice but small ass well. It stays cool even if you don’t use the ice packs. But again you can only fit a few things in. I did three sandwiches on regular white bread in zip lock bags and two full size candy bars. Would I recommend this…absolutely not! I regret not sending it back. It was man spent badly and I’m still on the hunt for a good backpack I can take to the beach and Mardi Gras parades.
