Fault unit
I won't significantly lower the rating due to a manufacturing defect. It's a great product, but unfortunately I received a faulty unit. The AKG K371 headphones I got have a noticeable dip in the 60–250 Hz range on the left earcup, with some frequencies being significantly reduced or outright missing. Since these are studio headphones, they are not suitable for professional use in this condition. The issue was verified using a stepped frequency sweep with a MacBook Pro M5, Ableton Live 12, and REW v5.31.3.
