good but certainly could be better! needs more colour adjustment options/profiles.

I've been using the MSI MPG 274URDFW E16M 27-Inch 4K UHD monitor for a while now, and it has a lot going for it, particularly for gaming and media consumption. The 4K resolution provides plenty of screen space, colours are vibrant, and the monitor offers a wide range of features and settings that allow for extensive customization. The overall build quality feels premium, and the high refresh rate makes motion look smooth and responsive. However, there are a few drawbacks that stood out during daily use. Despite the 4K resolution, text sharpness and clarity are a little lacking compared to some other 27-inch 4K monitors I've used. Text is certainly readable, but it doesn't appear quite as crisp as I expected, especially when spending long periods working with documents or browsing the web - to counteract this I'd recommend turning the sharpness setting to 1 or 2 at most, any higher it looks grainy and the image enhancement option to weak or medium at most, on strong or strongest it adds too much noise and artificial grain to the overall picture - then adjust the font with windows cleartype if using a windows OS. The monitor also includes numerous colour profiles, which initially seems like a major advantage. Unfortunately, most of the preset profiles are heavily saturated and tend to have a noticeable red tint, making colours look less natural than they should. After experimenting with the available options, I found that the User Colour profile and the sRGB mode are really the only practical choices for everyday use, as they provide a much more balanced and accurate image, adobeRGB is very similar to the user profile too whilst a little less saturated on the reds so this may be better for day to day use without looking too vibrant or too washed out like the sRGB profile tends to look. Overall, the MSI MPG 274URDFW E16M is an impressive gaming-focused monitor with strong performance, excellent features, and eye-catching visuals. However, users who prioritise colour ac

Great monitor for the price

It really is difficult to describe in this review how much the limiting factor in understanding how good this monitor is is my phone's low quality camera. When I first booted this thing up, after coming from a 60z 4k non-HDR display, I literally felt like those shrimps that see all those colors. It felt like my eyes were working better, somehow. I work from home part time off a Mac and I'm happy to report that the KVM functionality works well too. This is a great monitor for the price. When it goes fully white, it genuinely hurts to look at. Bloom is there but only really noticable against large swaths of black. I found the monitor's default HDR color to skew a little strongly red, but that's an easy adjustment. Content made for HDR, like Final Fantasy XVI, goes hard on this monitor. My panel personally has no defects and I'd honestly think the majority of panels are fine, despite reviews. Super satisfied with this purchase.

Initial impression... very impressed!

Bought this to replace a faulty LG monitor (very common fault on that particular brand and model). After much research, time, and pondering I settled on this Mini-LED monitor and have to say I'm impressed! I didn't want an OLED (as that didn't suit my use-case), so this is a great compromise. Black blacks, lovely highlights, all the kit you could ask for is included and a super easy set up.

15 Stuck Pixels & 1 Dead Pixel - Good monitor but not amazing

Anyone buying this monitor should make sure to do a thorough check for dead / stuck pixels. My E16M arrived with 15 stuck pixels and 1 dead pixel. Initial impressions of the monitor aside from being disappointed with the stuck pixels: I played some PS5 games with HDR enabled. Final Fantasy 7 Remake, Demon Souls, Ratchet and Clank and Tetris Effect. The screen looks good, colours look good, black levels are good and the brightness is good. Good is the word. Not amazing. Good. I was kind of expecting to be blown away by the HDR effect but it is only a bit better than my 4 year old Sony X90J TV which has a tiny fraction of the dimming zones. It is better than my current monitor, an Alienware AW2721D but not £400 better. (Edit. Actually once I switched back to my Alienware I actually think the SDR picture of the Alienware is superior despite only being 1440p vs the MSI's 4K. There is something about the Alienware which makes it more comfortable to look at. It is somehow softer on the eyes. It's hard to explain. Could be that I am just used to the Alienware but I actually feel like I have a headache coming on after using the MSI for only an hour). There is also a strong vignette around the edges of the screen. I am used to that with my TV but it is worse on this monitor. It is going back for a refund. I think I will stick with my Alienware with it's stuck red pixel and scratches for a while longer.

Great cheap 4k Monitor

Great monitor for the price, works well, is bright in HDR, and perfect size. KVM was glitching but updated firmware fixed issues. Excellent
