Replacement needed

The Velop device has stopped working. I have tried taking support on this and have it fixed. but it has been deemed defective. Case no. 15219209 with Linksys Support.. I have been asked for a replacement deice under warranty terms. Please process I am adding this review after 2 days. The dealer IT Hub UAE contacted me and personally offered to replace the defective item. Mr Jehad was most helpful and very supportive and went out of his way to replace, even though I could not give him the original packaging etc. I am delighted with the service and support provided. Will reccoomend highly

Best WiFi 6 router for the price

Received product as described. Genuine product and got Linksys UAE support during Node configuration. You can use each node as separate router as well in case if you want to share 1 node with your friend. Good wifi range and plenty of options to manage router via Linksys App. Happy with my purchase. Note: If you place Router next to Wireless Telephone make sure your 2.4Ghz is working on 1,9, and 11 channel. Otherwise devices connected to 2.4Ghz network will get disconnected because of overlapping from Wireless Telephone. You can take contact Linksys for any support.

Excellent and stable connectivity

Excellent product. Satisfied with the performance. No connection drops. Solid connectivity. My home is 5500 square feet. But as they said 2 piece for 6000 squarefeet is not enough if you have concrete walls. So recommended to buy 3 piece pack if large area and multiple rooms. Moreover only N band (Wifi 4)speed will be only available in long distances while we check our device connectivity speed. Wifi 5 - AC and Wifi - 6 AX speeds will be available only in same room or short distances. Triband feature is useful. But felt Wifi 6 and Wifi 5 does not have much role in long distances. So Wifi 4(N) plays the dominant part in this device. In overall, I liked this. This is best as our new devices are WiFi 6 (ax)and WiFi 5(ac). This is future compatible for next 5 to 10 years. You never have to look back.

available with this model.

The router performance is good. But it has a very basic parental control. Also linksys shield which is paid feature for better parental control is not available with this model.

Excellent coverage

I love it , it has excellent coverage, though I had to call customer service for assistance with the setup. The point where I got lost was that you will need to connect your phone to the Velop during the installation. That would be in the Name Your wi-fi step , in that step you will need to turn off your phone's wifi as well as your phone mobile data ( both turn them off) but keep the bluetooth on the phone on, then connect your phone to the Velop using bluetooth.

Works like a charm but we need a new app!

I have as using Linksys acm3200 for years and just decided to upgrade for wifi6 mesh fir better coverage and performance. The operation of this mesh is exceptioal indeed and super stable. Just needed ti recalibrate all my devices for the single ssid name then enjoy the seamless stearing. I have bought and returned few mesh solutions and kept this one because it makes it through thick concrete walls in Saudi Arabia houses. This was the deal breaker for me! I just want Linksys to update this crappy app with something new. The app is always retarded and not accurate collecting and controlling devices on the network. Setup process and restart times are way slower than the others Overall, I'm happy with my purchase ❤️
