Help

keeps popping my breaker in my kitchen .Anyone having this issue .On a 20 amp breaker

It works well but it's pretty expensive

I have mixed feelings about this Ninja Crispi microwave and air fryer. It definitely cooks well, and I really like having the microwave and air fryer functions combined into one appliance. The FusionCrisp function is especially nice for foods where you want the speed of a microwave but still want them crispy when they are finished. There is definitely a learning curve though. One thing I learned pretty quickly is to follow the cooking instructions that come with the Ninja rather than the directions on the food package. Once I started doing that, I got much better results. For foods that are not covered in the included instructions, it takes some experimenting with the different settings and cooking times before you figure out what works best. My biggest complaint is simply the price. It is a really nice appliance and it cooks well, but it is expensive for what it is. You are definitely paying a premium for the Ninja name. I like it and will continue using it, but whether it is worth the price really depends on how much you value having a microwave and a capable air fryer combined into one appliance.

Huge and heavy, but worth it if you’re short on space!

This is basically a fancy microwave, which I actually really like. It replaces both a countertop microwave and an air fryer, so if you have limited counter space, I think it’s definitely worth considering. The air-fry function is fantastic, and I really like that it comes with the glass pan. Being able to cook in glass feels like a healthier option, and it’s a nice bonus. My husband made chicken strips in it and said they were the best chicken strips he’s ever had! My only complaint is that this thing is BIG and HEAVY, so make sure you have a dedicated spot for it. But if you need both a microwave and air fryer and want one appliance to do it all, I’m very happy with it so far.

Excellent air fryer/microwave combo!

I ordered this Crispi unit to replace a 5 to 7 year old Emeril air fryer with a pivot down down. I hated that door because it also got food all over it. Just a silly design. So I saw this unit and thought the side open door was going to be better. It is. And that's not all that makes it better. The crisper tray that sets inside the large microwave safe glassware is such a good idea for keeping things clean because you can let the glass cool down and then wash it with soap and water. Do the same with the crisper tray and it's going to remain in like new condition indefinitely. Now what makes this unit even better is the combined microwave functionality that also eliminates the need for a rotating tray, which is another thing to have to keep clean. No more glass tray on the bottom! Instead, the microwave generation unit rotates internally, under the cooking area. Really quite smart. So now if something does spill, there's no messing with glass trays, plastic roller skates, etc. Just wipe the bottom up. Finally, the ability to have it automatically transition from microwave to air fryer is great for cooking meals at a quicker pace than the traditional wall oven. The microwave does the initial heating to temperature and then the air fryer provides the final crisping to the meal. Drawbacks so far is that it is a little louder than my Emeril air fryer. I've included a short video showing the unit in an air fryer mode and then I turn on a nearby faucet at full blast to give a frame of reference for how loud it is. There is some confusion on the included instruction cards about whether it's ok to use the crisper tray in the microwave. I've included a picture showing the attached tag which claims you must not use the crisper tray for microwaving, but then it's ok to use it for FusionCrisping, which happens to also use the microwave? That is confusing. Finally, I've included pictures showing the temperature of the side, top and back wall after using the air fryer mode for a 1

Ninja Is Crushing It With This Microwave Air Fryer Combo

Ninja is absolutely crushing it lately, and this microwave and air fryer combo is another home run. Our family loves this thing and it has quickly become one of the most used appliances in our kitchen. Having a microwave and a powerful air fryer built into one unit is incredibly convenient and saves us from having two separate appliances taking up counter space. The flatbed design without the traditional spinning turntable is also a much bigger upgrade than expected. There is a ton of usable room inside, larger dishes fit easily, and the interior is much easier to wipe down. The controls took a little experimenting at first simply because there are so many different cooking options, but after a few uses everything became pretty straightforward. Where this really shines is with foods that normally don’t reheat very well in a regular microwave. Leftover pizza actually tastes better reheated in here because it gets hot all the way through while the crust crisps back up instead of becoming soft and chewy. Fries turn out amazing too, especially compared to microwaving them, and spring rolls have become a family favorite in this because they come out hot inside with a really nice crispy shell. The FusionCrisp feature is probably what gets used the most because it combines the speed of the microwave with the crispy finish of an air fryer. Frozen foods that would normally take quite a while in the oven are ready surprisingly fast, and there is no need to move the food from one appliance to another halfway through. The included glassware is another feature that makes this feel very well thought out. It holds a generous amount of food, feels substantial, and both it and the crisper plate are easy to clean. Being dishwasher safe is a big plus after making wings, fries, or anything else that leaves behind grease and crumbs. It is also nice knowing the cooking surfaces are made without toxic materials.
