Solid cooker, some issues with the 1st or I got.
Bern using it for a few weeks now. Very good integration with the app and step by step guided cooking makes a difference. Happy with the purchase.
A total game-changer for the kitchen – fast, efficient, and fully automated!
I recently upgraded to the Instant Pot Pro 10-in-1 WiFi model, and I have been using it for several months now. It has completely transformed how I cook. If you are looking to save time and cut down on energy bills, this is the gadget to get. The "Set It and Forget It" Experience The standout feature for me is the automation. Unlike older pressure cookers where you have to nervously watch the clock or manually flick a hot valve, this model handles everything. You can control the entire process from your phone via WiFi. The automated steam release system is brilliant. You don't need to be near the pot or worry about burning your fingers; you can program it to release steam naturally, in pulses, or quickly, all from the app or the digital panel. It’s safer, quieter, and lets me leave the kitchen completely until the notification pops up that dinner is ready. Efficiency & Performance • Time Saver: It really lives up to the hype. Meals that used to take hours in the oven (like stews or large cuts of meat) are done in a fraction of the time. • Energy Saver: I’ve noticed it uses significantly less electricity than heating up my main oven, which is a huge plus right now. • 10-in-1 Versatility: It replaces my rice cooker, steamer, and slow cooker. The sauté function is also powerful enough to brown meat properly before pressure cooking, so I'm using fewer pans. Verdict It’s expensive, but for the convenience and energy savings, it pays for itself. It takes the stress out of cooking—you just throw the ingredients in, set the app, and walk away. Pros: • Fully automated steam release (ventilation) is safe and hands-free. • WiFi connectivity lets you monitor progress from another room. • Drastically reduces cooking time and energy consumption. • Inner pot is stove-top friendly and has handles (no spinning pot!). Cons: • It is quite heavy, so you’ll want a permanent spot for it on the counter. • The sheer number of features takes a little getting used to at first.
Fab Machine
Excellent item! My first Instant Pot Pro and I'm extremely pleased. Arrived safely and well within the time specified. Well packaged. The machine was very easy to set up and even the WIFI setup went without a hitch, just followed the instructions and was boiling a couple of eggs within minutes. Followed the online instructions which were "magically" sent to my instant pot and had 2 beautifully cooked soft boiled eggs within minutes... took no longer than one of those little round egg boilers you can buy! In the first week of ownership I've made a chicken stew, a soup and even made a small batch (1 Lt) of yoghurt and everything turned out fantastic! Today I'm going to make a beef stew in the Instant Pot. Well worth the price!
Expectations have been exceeded!
We have had this device for 10 days. So far I'm impressed with the build quality, ease of use and performance. Standout features are the high quality stainless steel cooking pot, the intuitive touch screen controls and the super quiet operation. Being the Pro version it has an extra pressure level - the MAX level in addition to LOW & HIGH. The device is eerily quiet even when in pressure cook mode - so quiet that it's easy to forget that it is actually in use! Having used stove top pressure cookers for over 40 years this is completely different experience. Once the desired pressure has been reached I can only assume that the heating element immediately ramps down to the minimum input required to maintain the pressure. There is no detectible hiss of escaping steam in the cooking phase, no cooking smells and consequently no loss of flavour. The rice setting is configured for white rice but with adjustments to the settings it cooks brown rice very well in half the time of a specialist rice cooker. It makes decent porridge and has proved excellent for cooking whole beetroots in a steamer basket (purchased separately). Pressure cooking on the zero minutes setting is an excellent shortcut for achieving steamed vegetables in a fraction of the time - very useful for Kale as it gives consistent results without the need for keeping an eye on the process. We haven't investigated the wi-fi functionality and there's a lot more to learn about this device but so far it's been flawless and looks set to be a firm favourite that will be in regular use.
