Great product
The device is really quiet, the colours suit almost room so that it’s barely noticeable, and the set up to connect the purifier to your phone was so easy
Quiet and Efficient!
This air purifier is quiet and very efficient. When there was smoke in the air from forest fires the purifier was running. When I sprayed bug killer around one of the doors inside the house the purifier ran until the stench was gone. We burn wood in the wood stove and the purifier clears the air after opening the door and adding more wood. If I burn something on the stove it runs. I also like the fact that I can check the statis of the air quality on the app on my phone. Great product!
A Sophisticated (and QUIET) Air Filter
I am reviewing the BlueAir 211i Max and 411i Max series in this review as I bought both - one for living room and one for bedroom. Bottom line, these are very impressive units and for the price I am impressed and pleased with each for functionality and effectiveness. Pros for the BlueAir series. very very quiet. On auto maintenance mode - you can't hear the thing. These are smart machines. You can monitor every aspect of your air quality through the app. You can adjust the control lights from off to bright. It tracks months of air quality data for the room it is in by month, week, day. You can adjust from sleep mode, auto, and 3 fan speeds using the app remotely. It tells you how much filter life is left. It tells you the outside air quality and compares to your inside. Example of its effectiveness; I was sautéing some Italian sausage and onions, the unit detected the particles and immediately went into high mode for about 5 minutes until all the odor was eliminated and then went back to silent. The front LED bar changes from Blue to Green, orange and red depending on the air quality while at the same time adjusting the fan speed to address the corresponding level of air quality indicated. Same thing happened when smoking some meat on the back patio. I left the door open to bring in the food, the unit detected the smoke and the front LED went red. After closing the door, it ran on high mode until the LED indicators began to regress back to blue and the fan speed decreasing accordingly until all the smoke odor was eliminated from the room. Cons for the BlueAir product. It is a bit pricier than other options - but for all the differences - so far, I feel the Blue Air product is definitely worth the price difference, for me at least. What I have not addressed: the longivity of the products; the life of the filter; ease of maintaining; Both of my purchases are within the first month;
A must for all
Very pleased with this purchase. Instantly changed the air quality in our condo. Our condo was needing dusting every day until we purchased this unit. It even made my constant cough disappear so that I feel so much healthier. Very quiet in normal operation, don’t even realize it is on. Definitely recommend buying this unit. Purchased it when on sale and am 100% happy with it.
I Waited Before Reviewing - 10/10!
I wanted to wait for my first filter change before providing my review. My wife has pretty bad allergies, so we wanted to try an air purifier to see if that would help any. After hours of research, I landed on the Blueair. Set it up in our bedroom in early January '24. We run it on Auto except for 30 minutes each night before bedtime. After a week or two my wife could tell a difference. She was able to breathe better at night. That alone was a big win in my book! I'll admit, before we bought this, I was pretty skeptical. But between it helping my wife and now that I just changed the filter, I'm a firm believer! First, the filter lasted roughly 10 months before the red LED came on that signals it's time for a new filter. Ordered one yesterday and installed it a few minutes ago. The outer cover was SO freakin dirty! It didn't look dirty from afar, but don't make the same mistake I did and take it off in the house. Take the purifier outside before you do anything else! I figured the inner filter would barely be off white, and they just wanted you to change it prematurely to make money on new filters. I was wrong. The filter was obviously dirty and in need of replacement. I'm now wondering how and why our indoor air is so dirty. Ugh! Bottom line: this is a great air purifier! It absolutely works very well. The auto mode and scheduling features are intuitive and useful, and help prolong the life of your filter. I really like that it actually monitors the air in the room and activates when needed. While it may be a bit on the larger side, it's tastefully and neutrally designed to blend with nearly any decor. The app is great too, and shows your local outdoor air quality along with that inside the room where it's located. Worth every penny. Couldn't be more pleased!
Powerful quiet and truly automatic
This air purifier has completely exceeded my expectations. It is extremely quiet on every setting and you can see in my video how smoothly it runs. The auto mode is the best feature by far. It is so sensitive that it will kick on from across the house if I spray hairspray in my bathroom about twenty feet away. I love knowing it is constantly monitoring the air and adjusting on its own. The design looks clean and modern, it covers a large space easily, and the setup took just a minute. I have noticed that the air feels fresher and the room does not get stuffy at all anymore. It works so well that I am planning to buy another one.
