INNOCN deserves your attention!
**I purchased this monitor almost a year ago and it has been my main monitor ever since. So here is an in-depth review with almost a year's worth of daily gaming use case behind it** Before purchasing this monitor, I had never heard of INNOCN. And after doing a bit of research on their monitors, I decided to go ahead and give them a try, and I'm absolutely blown away impressed with them! This is one of the few Mini-LED IPS Monitors out there, and has so many different gaming settings, backlight options, an amazing refresh rate, the works! It's so incredibly rare that I find a monitor that I truly enjoy or that I'm willing to justify the price on, but this monitor checks all my boxes, and it's priced so competitively for what you get! I have used so many monitors, and while OLED monitors are great, they still lack the brightness I enjoy (the highest OLED brightness I've seen was HDR400). This Mini-LED monitor is HDR1000, and it is UNBELIEVABLY BRIGHT when cranked all the way up. One of the really amazing things about this monitor is it's complete lack of ghosting. If you're familiar with gaming monitors, a lot of times, especially with Mini-LED VA panels, you'll get a ghosting effect around icons on your screen or that follow your cursor as your mouse pointer moves around. I'm not sure if it's because this is the first Mini-LED IPS Panel I've tried or what, but that ghosting effect is completely non-existent on this monitor. Speaking of Mini-LED, on a black background, this screen competes with OLED, in that a solid black background with no icons or anything looks like the screen is turned off. Standard IPS monitors almost have a dark grey look to their black screens because of how the backlighting works, but Mini-LED (Quantum Dot at that!) really makes this monitor compete in the big leagues This has a 320Hz refresh rate which is absolutely perfect for any genre of game. In many situations this beats my C3
Unlike the Acer version of the same panel, this monitor works really well with SDR and HDR modes, you just flip the windows HDR switch on and off. Acer has had this problem for many years with multiple monitors (I personally experienced) and it's a huge hassle they should've fixed many years ago. So I cancelled my ACER order and went with INNOCN. I think there might be some confusion with how it's picture defaults\modes are set up, but this is an unbelievable monitor! This will save you a lot of time: First off, if you are playing games with this monitor, HDR games, set the picture mode to SRGB and let NVidia auto switch between standard 8 bit and HDR 10 bit color. Works great, no glitches, huge difference in SDR desktop color and HDR games. Then calibrate HDR in windows, setting the lowest value to 0. You will get great blacks even with low local dimming. Put dynamic overdrive on 3 and local dimming to low. That's it, it works without effort and you're done! I've been playing on an LG C3 for 2 years, and it's an amazing experience. I would pick this monitor over it any day. Any day! You get used to the dimness of oled and you think it's bright. Then you get a monitor that has 1100 nits of glorious HDR with mini led and sooooo many whole bright scenes put my C3 to shame. I'd say around half of the time my games look better with miniled than my oled. I think it has to do with the amount of lighting zones and it's resolution. It has as many minileds as the 4k versions so it appears 27inches, 1440p is the sweet spot for great miniled local dimming. The clarity, response time are wonderful. The color is wonderful at all times, not overblown, just vivid and clean. The sense of real light in my games is really noticeable with miniled over oled. It's like oled does a great expression\spin on HDR but miniled just brings the real thing. I don't worry about burn in anymore or my organic tv slowly degrading. Best monitor on the market but completely useless to Canadians
This is hands down, in my opinion, the best gaming monitor available at the moment but no one in Canada should buy it. This monitor cannot be shipped without sustaining severe impact damage - I have so far gone through 3 of these and each one had taken enough impact force to have the monitor panel destroy the protective styrofoam on the left side of it. Just think about that for a second... all three monitors were smashed around so severely that the force of the panel inside its protective packaging destroyed that protective packaging from the inside out. I have bought a lot of monitors online as I build PCs for quite a few people and I have never seen anything even remotely like this before. Now, take that fact and pair it with these two facts and you Canadians will stay far away from this monitor. INNOCN seels via the USA to Canada and explicitly says that they do not service warranty in Canada so after your 30 day return window is up you have absolutely no safety net whatsoever if something happens. Something is almost guaranteed to happen sooner rather than later because this monitor uses an extremely delicate 1152 zone qd mini led back light array which is known to have its life severely degraded if it sustains impacts and that catastrophic failure is most likely to happen somewhere between months 3-12 which would have been completely fine if INOOCN served us Canadians warranty service, but they don't. So, you're most likely going to be left with an expensive paper weight with absolutely no recourse other than to buy a new monitor. I hate to say this because, as I said before, I think this is the best monitor on the market as of writing this review but the above discussed reasons means as a Canadian you should absolutely not buy it. I hope in the future that INNOCN decides to expand to Canada so that we can get their paltry 1 year warranty, and likely less severely impacted deliveries due to having panels shipped to local warehouses, because then I would recomm

Great upgrade from older non-MiniLED IPS monitors
I bought two of these as an upgrade from traditional 27" IPS monitors over a month ago and they look amazing. The black levels especially with local dimming on are so much better and HDR looks great and highlights can be really bright. With 1152 dimming zones, blooming is practically unnoticeable unless you're in a dark room (where it is very noticeable and likely to become an annoyance. If you plan to use this in a dark room and don't display a lot of static content, I would go OLED instead, 27" 1440p OLEDs are getting pretty affordable now). However, these monitors are not without any issues. 1. To access and use the OSD, you must use a single button on the back and it's really annoying and on some menus, you have to push it up or down to go left and right, which seems counterintuitive. 2. Another area of annoyance is the power lights; when in sleep mode the light is red and it is impossible to shut off without turning the monitors off entirely (nothing in the settings at all to turn this off). I bought some black stickers to hide the red light. 3. According to other reviews I read, 320Hz is a gimmick as the pixels on this display actually aren't capable of refreshing fast enough to do 320Hz, so it is more of a 240Hz monitor 4. The manufacturer used the much older DisplayPort 1.4 standard as opposed to newer standards, which means that in order to display 10 bit color at 240Hz, you need to use DSC. Otherwise with DSC off, most it can do is 240Hz at 8 bit color, or 10 bit color at much lower refresh rates. Overall, despite these issues I am pretty satisfied with the upgrade and would never look back at my older traditional IPS monitors.

FINALLY a mini led ips for the U.S!
Purchased before any reviews were up, with coupon at $399.99. This is the one everybody! All the miniled panels at this time in the u.s. have been VA, I've tried them, and for someone who needs color and contrast accuracy for photo editing AND a good panel for gaming and hdr.. VA panels have fallen flat on the first category again and again. BUT THIS! this ips is what I was waiting for. I had previously tried the latest KTC miniled and while that got BRIGHT, even with all the adjusting on the world I couldn't get it accurate for my needs (plus I got 2 and both had dust or stuck pixels on the screen). I also had a nice ips panel but the ips glow in dark scenes and lackluster hdr levels had me searching for something better. This one gets bright, not as bright as the hdr1400 screen I tried previously but plenty, it's color accurate from the box especially in adobe and srbg modes, I only adjusted it a tic for preference, but it really didn't even need it. It has SO MANY screen modes with some are actually useful, it's highly tweakable in color/hue etc that anyone would be pleased. They also include a print out of them color testing your exact panel - I thought that was a nice inclusion. IT REALLY SHINES IN HDR MODE! My previous VA panels looked "eh" at best in SDR and were only really good in HDR, but this is nice and accurate in both. HDMI 2.1 is a lifesaver. Especially if you have apple TVs or Roku plugged in, you can run hdr and extended resolution modes instead of just being locked into 1080p on your 1440p monitor. I'm sure this is important for console players too. Build quality is good, although mine arrived with some mini scratches on the corner bezel. Considering everything I'm able to overlook this. The stand is actually pretty nice too, the base it stands on is metal instead of just plastic. There isn't a large amount of noticeable light bleeding from the corners like a usual ips.
