Significant upgrade to low profile gateron brown tactiles
Bought these to replace my low profile gateron brown tactiles on my azio cascade slim 75 with keychron low profile keycaps. Firstly, great QC: out of 110 pieces found ~5 or so that had pin bent slightly, none broken. The switches themselves are noticeably quieter, easier to activate, typing feels significantly better than the tactiles for me. Compared to non low profile linears, these are less bouncy, slightly softer feel. I'm also resting my fingers on the keys and they aren't accidentally activating, which is great. The only con I can think of is that these switches significantly dimmed my backlight on my cascade slim, given they are opaque. In conclusion, if you have a hot swappable low profile board compatible with gaterons and are looking to upgrade the sound, quietness, and type feel and are ok with dimmed backlights, these are a fantastic upgrade and great value for money without buying another keyboard, which is ~100 these days from Lofree, Nuphy, etc.
