Solid 3D printer
The Centauri 2 is well put together for a printer at this price. The frame is rigid with minimal flex and the key components came pre-assembled to a decent standard straight out of the box. Print quality has been solid across a range of filaments. The full auto calibration works reliably and means you can get a good first layer without fiddling with manual adjustments. At 500mm/s it's quick, though in practice I run it at lower speeds for better results. The setup process is genuinely beginner friendly. The UI is intuitive and the print start workflow is straightforward even if you haven't used this specific printer before. The automatic bed levelling saves a lot of hassel. At this price for a capable CoreXY printer it represents decent value. There are a few minor quirks to get used to but nothing that puts me off recommending it as a reliable workhorse.
