Nice 6x6 cube puzzle
My son, who I got this for, has been into cube puzzles since he was 3. He taught himself the algorithm and has been solving them at speed since shortly after that, so when I find something that looks like a new challenge I will get one for him. He was very happy when this one showed up, and he has been using it since. He really likes the smooth operation and the lack of stickers, specifically. The overall size is still really good for its increased complexity, keeping it hand-size still. This one was a greater challenge and he loves it. My Rating System - Five Stars - Better than I expected; exceeded expectations. Four Stars - Met expectations; exactly what I expected. Three Stars - Average quality; nothing fancy and not quite what I expected. Two Stars - Noticeably below average; disappointed. One Star - Absolutely below expectations; not worth my time or yours. Since ratings are opinions, they vary as much as the authors that wrote them. I try to be fair with mine; if I’m not certain I will tend to give the better rating of what I am contemplating. I will describe the item as best I can from my perspective, giving what detail I think matters and try to give an accurate description as I see it. Hopefully, the review helps you.

Perfect for the first time 6x6 cuber
My son enjoys cubing and after school, I noticed they started trying different cubes - pyramatrix(?), the mirror cube, etc. I grabbed this so he had one more in his arsenal. He can take it to his next cubing meet up and the other more experienced kids help to walk him through it. It’s not “competition” level, but it’s a great for him to practice with and get used to it.

Complicated and challenging speed cube
This 6x6 advanced magnetic speed cube is not much bigger than a Rubik’s cube, so each column and row is a lot smaller. But the rows twist smoothly and comfortably without any snagging. Once the colors are mixed up, it’s definitely a challenge to solve the puzzle. The speed cube comes with instructions to help, but it takes time and patience to work through. Overall, a nice fidget piece for your desk and an interesting conversation starter at the office for ice breakers.

Be ready for a mental challenge
My son has already mastered the classic 3x3 cube, so I picked up this 6x6 version to give him a much bigger challenge. It definitely delivered! He’s having a tough time solving it, but it’s been so much fun watching his determination and perseverance as he works through the added complexity. If you’re looking for a puzzle that will really test your skills, this is a fantastic next step. The quality of the cube is excellent. Every turn is butter smooth with no catching or grinding, making it a pleasure to manipulate even during long solving sessions. I also appreciate that it uses colored plastic instead of stickers, so there’s no need to worry about peeling, fading, or misaligned stickers over time. Considering the quality and the amount of entertainment it provides, this cube is an outstanding value. It’s the kind of puzzle that can keep someone occupied for hours—or even days—as they learn new solving techniques. Whether you’re upgrading from a 3x3 or buying for someone who enjoys a real mental challenge, this is an easy recommendation.

Well-priced Magnetic 6x6!
I am pretty deep into the cubing community, but I haven't bought any larger dimensioned cubes in a while. Nonetheless, I really wanted to, so I bought this. I won't use anything that isn't magnetic anymore, just because that is practically the standard, but they can get expensive. Meet this 6x6. It has good turning capability (could be better, but this is without tensioning or better lube, so that is to be expected), and the magnets work great. This is everything I could want from a well-priced magnetic 6x6. Good buy!
