Improved Leaf Razor

I have been using the leaf twig for a short period now. The leaf branch Razor is an improvement, but I didn't notice any major difference in shave quality. I really like the handle grip on the Branch It is easier to hold because of the new improved grip. The razor seems more heavy duty. The Leaf Twig and Branch are both very good razors. The Twigs metal travel case and base stand can be used with the Branch Razor.

A nice upgrade to the Leaf Twig.

Okay... I thought I had found my razor when I purchased the Leaf Twig about 5 years ago... It gave a fantastic shave that left very little to be desired. I did not go for he Leaf Thorn, since I didn't feel the need for a markedly more aggressive razor... but when I saw the Leaf Branch, I knew I had to buy it... and I was not disappointed. The very first time I used it was to shave of about 2.5 weeks of beard growth that I had let grow because the Dermatologist had frozen off of a lesion on my face... a task that would have been almost impossible with a cartridge razor, and I suspect would have given the Twig a hard time.... but with patience, the branch handled well. and my next shave on a much easier face confirmed my first impression. There is a great weight to this razor, and the mechanism to open and close the razor feels substantially better built than the twig. This is a great razor, and it is hard to imagine Leaf will come up with something to replace this one... but maybe in 5 or 6 years, I will be writing another review. Great job Leaf!

Solid Razor

Solid build. Heavier than the average razor. Magnetic head makes for very easy blade loading. Twist mechanism is smooth. The handle has a nice flat black finish and a “grippy” feel to it. Blades are ridiculously cheap and available from many manufacturers if you snap double edged blades in half.

Good alternative to disposable razors

The razor was a little heavier and shorter than expected, and there was a bit of a learning curve. I got a few nicks after my first shave, so I swapped out the supplied blades for Derby Professional Single Edge Blades—and I haven’t had a nick since.

Nice Affordable Razor

I have more razors and shaving equipment than I can count, including some very expensive top end CNC razors. Branch doesn’t beat my high priced razors, but it does deliver a great comfortable shave in a robust body at an affordable price. I am putting it in my camp kit, it’s a nice compact one piece razor with a silicone travel cover. Great little piece for quick shaves, traveling or just because you want another razor :)
