Neato
The thumb doesn't move, the fingers do. It works great. The sticker on one of them is upside down, so perhaps it's not a right match for someone with severe ocd. My daughter is thrilled about them.
Fun toy
My 6 year old just had to have this lol. He loves it. It doesn’t do much. The had does open and close. It doesn’t pick up heavy things, maybe a sock or empty bag. But it’s fun!

For looks, this is amazing, for functionality and weight balancing not so much. It may just be my weak arms but because they added so much bulk to the "arm" of the GrabPack I can barely hold it up without using two hands because it puts so much stress on the other two fingers I have on the outside of the handle to support it, and at that point I might as well just reach out and grab whatever I'm trying to yoink with my own hands. Plus, the grabbing mechanism is rather weak. I was only really able to pick up really light items like stuffed dog toys and cardboard, and in comparison, my two-fingered claw version could support entire bookbags of stuff without being at much risk of dropping it all. If you've been hitting the gym and you know a thing or two about how these grabber hands work and can strengthen its grip then this is a perfect functioning prop to use as a Playtime Co. employee, but if not, I would recommend grabbing one of the stronger, more lightweight third-party variants.

Doesn’t shoot out like a real grab pack is the only bad thing but the rest is good and it can grip headphones. I tested that.
