I'm so happy this exists

I cannot go back after using a palm/wrist rest for years. I usually try to get a keyboard with both a built in rest and number pad, but I found this to be both unrealistic and extremely limiting when looking into the market for a new keyboard. So I decided to cut my losses to look for hard wrist rest without obnoxious branding... which lead me to this beauty. To preface, I acknowledge that this is an unrealistic standard/desire that stems from said built-in rests that were tailor made for a keyboard. I was a bit concerned when ordering due to it being a bit small compared to 75% keyboard (12.5~ inch length), which may make it look aesthetically out of place. Now that I have it, I will say that aesthetically it would still be more pleasing if it perfectly fit the frame, but I will say that this is a very minor gripe as the rest fully encompasses the exact length of the keys to alleviate major aesthetic concerns. I like that we're given two different sizes of rests, as I think it would have been a bit uncomfortable for me in the long run if I was forced to use the the larger grip. One minor gripe, which is not relevant to me personally, is that if the perfect height was with no grips you'd have to sacrifice whatever you were to place it on as the grooves would inevitably scratch your desk/pad/mat at some point. In the practical functionality sense it works great! It does not slide or move around when in use and feels very good to the touch. It also looks just as good, if not better, than in the pictures. A huge plus is that there is no watermark for branding (only on the grip which acceptable and welcome way as it's on the underside). I look forward to buy another rest from Faluber if I need to a buy a different sized keyboard!

Bello e funzionale

Ho una Logitech G915X, era davvero scomodo digitare coi polsi appoggiati sul tavolo. Questo poggiapolsi è ben fatto e bello stabile, sulia per il suo peso naturale (è in legno massiccio) che per la presenza dei piedini in gomma da applicare sotto (ce ne sono 2 set, piu sottili e più spessi, io ho messo i primi). Una volta appoggiato al bordo della tastiera, la digitazione diventa decisamente più comoda e meno stancante. Raccomando.

HHKBの墨と相性が抜群で、品質も使い心地も全て最高です。

恐らく想定してらっしゃるユーザー層の中にHHKBはかなり大きく占めていると思われ、デザインとサイズ感がめちゃくちゃジャストフィットで、大満足です。木材のカットも非常に品質が良く、手触りも最高です。黒い漆塗りですが、ちゃんとエイジングされていきそうな手応えがあります。恐らく皮脂や表面の擦れで艶が出てくるのだと想像して、長く使いたいところです。滑り止めのゴムも厚さが2パターン自分で貼り付けるタイプなので多少縦方向にサイズが違っても環境に合わせやすいと思います。あまりに気に入ったので、同じスペックで別の用途も使いたい欲が出てきました。 Magic Trackpadの底上げするトレーとか制作頂けたらソッコーで買います。あとは同じ素材で漆塗り仕上げしたデスクシェルフなど、色んなバリエーションが欲しいなと思いました。勝手にクッション系の素材の方が身体に優しいだろうと決めつけていたんですが、クッション系ってどのような素材でも汗を吸ったり、汗で劣化したり、どんどん汚くなるんですよね。しかもいざ使ってみると硬い方がかえって手が疲れないというか、いい文房具を持った感が出てキーボードを打っている時間が心地良くなるまで感じます。これはキーボードこだわっている勢としては全員使った方がいいっす。最後に、価格設定安すぎます。確実に価格から想像されるよりはるかに品質高いので、ちゃんと利益取られてもっとラインナップ増やして頂くか、価格据え置きするにしても長く作り続けてもらえると嬉しいです。

Great rest

Looks amazing and feels solid. With two sizes of footpad fits almost any keyboard. The feet provide enough friction to remain in place and the rest itself offers a solid level of comfort

This is only my second wrist rest. Could it also be the last?

The wrist rest is pretty much as I hoped it would be: comfortable, elegant and, as far as I can tell, well built. I like the sensation of the wood, its discreet grain and the black colour that fits the décor of my study (although it does make every mote of dust pop, I suppose). The shape is a bit different from that of my previous wrist rest (which came with my Cooler Master MK730 keyboard), but I got used to it easily. The package arrived without delays and without any damage. The dimensions are as advertised, which means that it's about three millimetres longer (wider?) than my tenkeyless keyboard – a very small difference that I already expected and I'm fine with. The width (depth?) is also convenient: a narrower wrist rest would force me to place it further apart from the keyboard, as I usually did with my old one; a wider rest would push the keyboard too far back on my desk (one reason I didn't go for Glorious' product). There were no strange smells when I opened the box nor has there been any discolouration during the first week of use. It took me a while to consider which of the two sets of rubber pads to attach to the wrist rest; after some testing, I decided that the slender ones are more convenient for resting my palms on between typing. The glue seems to hold well, but the pads themselves are a bit more slippery than those of the keyboard itself. I don't put much force on the wrist rest, however (one is not supposed to use it while typing, after all), so I haven't felt the thing actually move around during use. (Or at least, until it gathers enough dust to need some cleaning; this is a general problem on my desk and will eventually affect any rubber pad.) The old wrist rest came with my keyboard, and the cushion started shredding after about three years. I chose a wooden replacement in part because I hope this will last longer and save me the trouble of choosing a new one every time.
