A bigger TrimUI Brick, now with analog thumb sticks
The original TrimUI brick is my favorite retro gaming handheld. It’s extremely well designed and very versatile. Because it’s so pocketable, I take it almost everywhere. The Pro version is almost exactly the same, just bigger and with thumb sticks. Same processor, same screen resolution. That is both an advantage and a disadvantage. I appreciate the larger screen and size for playing games, but the larger size and the analog sticks add just enough bulk to make it a little less portable. So I still prefer the original just a bit more. If you’re new to retro gaming, be aware that there are no pre loaded games, so unless you order one with a SD card included it won’t be ready to play right out of the box. There’s a bit of a learning curve to get these set up. Fortunately there are tons of tutorials and communities out there to help, but be prepared to supply your own game files.
