Excellent value cage with excellent accessories
I have been using an EOS M for years now (with Magic Lantern) and have a-lot of Smallrig gear. I also have a DSLR, but just got an R8 body (too heavily invested in EF glass =-) So, I was looking for an appropriate cage and the Smallrig just doesn't seem good value, in this instance. This Tilta cage is brilliant though, it comes with an (optional to fit) attachment for with the R-EF adapter and most importantly for me, the attachment that allows me to clamp the micro HDMI and USB C cable to the camera and cage. This is the stand out feature for me. Micro HDMI is the spawn of satan IMO and ought not be used on anything, ever... However, this is the best solution I have found for this. The only downside is that some of my Smallrig pieces don't fit the Tilta drill out's. That's only a PITA as I have already spent quite a bit on existing stuff for my EOS M. That being said, I feel this is a solid investment that you won't regret.
