Outstanding product
Very good product. The bass, high, low everything is great. Maybe not the best sounding right out of the box but you can use the Tanchjim app to play around with the EQ. there are also very popular and good EQ templates in the app itself. Choose one that fits your preferences.
Nice pair of IEMS
I’ve been using the Tanchjim Bunny, and overall it has become one of my favourite daily listening IEMs because of how natural and effortless it feels. The sound quality is actually quite impressive for its price. It can get surprisingly loud when I want it to, but still stays controlled and clear without distortion. At the same time, I can also listen at lower volumes and still hear details properly, which makes it very comfortable for long sessions. What I really like is that it doesn’t feel “forced” or harsh unless I push the volume too high. Comfort is another big strength. The earbuds are so light that sometimes I genuinely forget I’m wearing them. There are moments when I pause and realise they are still in my ears because they just disappear physically, especially when I’m lying down or relaxing. I have even fallen asleep with them on because they feel that unobtrusive. Compared to something like the Nothing Buds (2 / Pro), the experience is quite different. Nothing feels more bass-heavy and energetic, while the Bunny feels more natural and relaxed. The Bunny is what I prefer when I actually want to focus on music or just chill, whereas Nothing is more for convenience and wireless use. In daily life, the Bunny is simple and reliable. No charging, no lag, and nothing getting in the way of just listening. The only trade-off is the wire, but in return you get better clarity and a more effortless listening experience. Overall, it’s an IEM that sounds good at different volumes, feels almost invisible in the ears, and makes long listening sessions very easy. And don't get me started on the DSP
Amazing Value
By default (connected analog 3.5mm) the sound signature is very balanced. Like, you hear that a lot about sound signature descriptions but it is genuinely accurate in this case. There's no overblown upper mids, no mid treble peaks, no overly bloated bass, and there's actual air frequencies. I bought the usb c version (which I highly recommend since you can easily buy an extra 3.5mm 2 pin cable). Out of the box the default tuning for the type c version is pretty inoffensive but where it really shines is the "Popular" preset from the Tanchjim app. It changes the sound signature to a slightly relaxed harman tuning, so you get nice sub bass without the shouty upper mids while keeping the detailed treble. This kind of versatility in an IEM is honestly pretty crazy for $20, especially considering the quality of the shell and driver. I really hope Tanchjim never discontinues this, it's too good and deserves more recognition. Not my measurements but I'm attaching a screenshot of the usb c popular preset (red), default usb c preset (blue), and analog 3.5mm connection (green) so you can see how they compare to each other and the harman target (dotted line) for reference. Some other notes: always be sure to test with different ear tips if you aren't getting a good seal. This shell in particular is REALLY small so you'll most likely have to use larger tips than you normally would. As an example I usually use "medium" size in all ear tips (which is what is included out of the box) but they didn't seal properly and gave me a really thin sound. I had to switch to larger tips to get a full seal and the proper amount of bass. This is something I feel a lot of people new to IEMs won't get since it's a trial and error thing that not all companies emphasize.
Super Einstiegs IEM!
I choose this over the Moondrop Chu 2
The Stock sound is surprisingly neutral and clear for the price. It is easy to change the EQ profile with the app. The app works much better than the moondrop app, although many of the other customers EQ preferences available in the app are described in Chinese, so are a mystery to me. I found the comfort to be good. My only complaint is that the inline control does not adjust volume. I prefer the Bunny to the moondrop Chu2 DSP, because the Bunny provides some passive noise isolation and the Chu2 gives none.
Great for the price
they give you many different sized eartips so you can customize the fit to your liking. Mic is decent but quiet, had to use a program to bump up the volume. cable might be short if using on pc. audio quality is great and I could wear them for hours. fantastic value for what you pay.
