Wow
I recieved this on a Friday. Came back home, unboxed, plugged it in, played Bohemian Rhapsody. And happy tears started rolling instantly. Legendary headphone that still stands the test of time. Launched in 1997, this headphone is older than me. And the fact that this is still one of the best at this price range says a lot about it. A vocal forward and extremely detailed pair. It doesn't have a wide soundstage but what if I told you that's its strength? Intimate soundstage with excellent details makes the sound deep and layered and that's what makes it special and something everyone must experience. You'll hear details you've never heard before in your favourite songs and it's easily recognisable too thanks to the layering. It's simply beautiful. Vocals, both male and female are perfect. Not too warm, not too bright. Just perfect. From the bass voice of SPB to the high pitched Sadhana Sargam. Everyone sounds great and I don't know how Sennheiser did it. Detailed audio gear generally tend to have shouty vocals but not this one. One real con though is the lack of subbass. It's not a problem in 95% of the songs but you'll want more in those other 5%. ≈3:35 timestamp in "Kadalenum" for instance. You'll notice the lack of subbass, especially if you've listened to something that has it. However if you ask me to pick between details and subbass, I'd anyday pick the details. About build quality you ask? People who bought it in 1997 are still using it, with minor repairs. Says a lot about durability and repairability and I don't think I need to add anything else. Looks wise, well it looks just like the photos in the brushed black colour. I like it. You decide for yourself. The photos are right there. It's extremely comfortable too thanks to the light-weight plastic used. See? You can make durable headphones with plastic. One thing to note is, it comes with a cloth earpads and using them in sweaty Indian summers is not really ideal and could make the pads stink. AC is recommen

Amazing sound!!
I just got these and they sound amazing! I already own the HD 400 PRO, and the sound on the HD 600 feels closer to my ears. It is also really comfortable on my ears. Also, I'm able to drive them perfectly with my 16" Macbook Pro (M1), so I can use these without needing extra hardware.

La struttura è caratterizzata da semplicità, leggerezza, comodità e resistenza, caratteristiche che hanno reso famosa l’intera famiglia 600 di Sennheiser. La riproduzione privilegia molto le frequenze medie, le alte sono rese con precisione ma non essendo mai fastidiose mentre le basse frequenze non sono enfatizzate inutilmente ma rese in maniera sostanzialmente “realistica”, precisa e mai invadente. In breve si tratta a tutti gli effetti della regina indiscussa della famiglia 600. _______________ » COSTRUZIONE Le plastiche NON lasciano la sensazione di materiali scadenti e poco durevoli, sono invece di ottima qualità e restituiscono ottimo feedback sia durante l’uso che durante la regolazione o la sostituzione dei cuscinetti. I padiglioni sono i classici della serie Sennheiser, molto morbidi, comodi e caratterizzati da una firma sonora davvero inimitabile, per contro si consumano molto facilmente e se usati costantemente ci si potrebbe trovare a sostituirli anche due volte in un anno (volendo preservare la firma sonora originale del prodotto). La comodità è indiscussa, probabilmente la forza di serraggio solo leggermente alta ma non dovrebbe dare fastidio soprattutto dopo qualche giorno di utilizzo. » PRESTAZIONI L'impedenza di 300 ohm rende conveniente l’uso di un buon amplificatore cuffie, possibilmente dotato di uscite bilanciate, in questo modo sarà davvero possibile esplorare la riproduzione di tutte le frequenze dalle più alte alle più basse ad un volume corretto. Le medie frequenze sono le protagoniste, ottima cuffia quindi per un ascolto brani vocali con voci calde e rilassate come ad esempio Norah Jones. Le frequenze basse non sono particolarmente spinte, tuttavia l’uso di un buon amplificatore soprattutto se valvolare può regalare maggiore calore a questa cuffia rendendola ottima anche sulle frequenze più basse. La scena sonora è molto intima, la più ravvicinata di tutte le cuffie Sennheiser, l’esatto opposto di una HD800S, il cantante sembra stare davver

Ich nutze seit Jahrzehnten hochwertige Kopfhörer, gerade in meiner Tätigkeit als Musikjournalist helfen sie mir auch sehr. Während ich daheim einen STAX Lambda Signature mit dazu gehörigem Röhrenkopfhörerverstärker nutze, suchte ich nach einer mobilen Alternative. Ich hatte mit den Fiio DM 15 R2R als portablen Highend CD Player besorgt, der wirklich gut klingt und zudem auch eine starke Kopfhörerausgangsstufe besitzt. Insofern war der HD 600 natürlich erste Wahl. Und auch an dem kleinen CD Player spielt er sein transparentes Klangbild mit weiter Hörbühne wunderbar aus. Besonders Stimmen klingen fantastisch. Von Haus aus ist der Bass nicht übermässig stark, das spielt allerdings beim Fiio DM 15 keine Rolle, da der zusätzlich über 2 Baßstufen verfügt, mit denen man das bei Bedarf locker kompensieren kann. Der refurbished Kopfhörer von Sennheiser ist dabei in Originalverpackung und auch optisch absolut neuwertig eingetroffen. Jetzt bin ich auch unterwegs audiophil dabei, aber in Zug oder Flieger darauf achten, dass das ein offener Kopfhörer ist, der auch dem Umfeld gratis Musikgenuss beschert...
