AED 700 for a Scratched Used Ring That Barely Works
Yes, I knew it was a used item before purchasing it. However, when it arrived, it was already quite worn out, had visible scratches, and even appeared to be broken from the inside, although it was still working at the time. I also had to reset the ring when I received it because it still had the previous owner’s name and information connected to it. Another major issue is the battery. The ring needs to be charged almost every 4–5 hours. If I don’t charge it that frequently, it basically stops working completely and becomes unresponsive. This is definitely not what I expected, even from a used product. After only 3 days of use, the problems became even worse. The ring kept disconnecting from my phone, there were no lights or response at times, and it would simply stop working altogether. Unfortunately, I can’t return it because I already threw away the box and used the charger. Paying around AED 700 for a used item in this condition is far too much. I expected a used product, but not something that arrived scratched, worn out, still containing the previous owner’s information, needs charging every 4–5 hours just to keep working, and started having serious connection and performance issues after only a few days. This experience has definitely made me decide never to order a used product again.
