Nice TV, Good e-mail Reponse for Questions
Been using for less than a week and the TV seems OK and nice so far. Good HD 1080 picture, I really got it to play videos off a flash drive. It doesn't come with a stand but I made one yesterday. Filled a square like 52 oz juice bottle with water and it fits inside the moving stand on the back and the TV is more stable. It's so light ... it's easy to knock over and maybe damage. It's very sturdy now and can be viewed at any angle. It must be viewed straight on ... not a good picture to the right or left or too far up and down. There was a card inside the box for a 'lifetime warranty', just scan with a smart phone I guess. I don't have a smart phone, just a flip phone for now. The card says you have 14 days to register the TV for the lifetime warranty, there is an email on the card so I sent an e-mail explaining that I don't have a smart phone and asked if there was a way to also get the lifetime warranty. I included my name and Amazon order number and a few hours later they sent me an e-mail saying they has registered me for the lifetime warranty on my purchase. I did not buy the Amazon 2 year warranty for $8.99 when I ordered the TV ... you have 30 days to get that warranty after buying the TV ... I wasn't sure at the time about whether I would like the TV and might decide to send it back. You have a 30 day window for a return. So I don't know whether to buy the 2 year warranty from Amazon or not. Maybe the lifetime warranty might work if the company is still around. All a gamble. On the lifetime warranty card from the company it states: 14 Days to Get: Lifetime Warranty and VIP Quick Service (repair or replacement). My one complaint is that all media files do not play on the TV ... many do play but there are some that do not. They can be avi or mp4 files that play or do not play. Haven't figured that out, some people more knowledgeable may know more about that. So for now the TV seems good. I don't know why other people have not mentioned the 'Lifetime Warranty' i
