Go Buy It

I was between Marshall and this one. Tested both. I am glad that I bought this one. The finishing quality and looks are insane. Nice crisp sound (very good trebles and mids), not the craziest bass but it has a significant punch (more than you need actually in your home). It fills up the living room more than enough. I usually use airlplay but bluetooth is also very good. I've also tested on the TV to see how it is as TV speaker - would not recommend it for it.

Surprisingly good!

Definitely punches above its weight when it comes to build quality, aesthetics, and of course the sound. App worked great for me on the latest iOS. I run mine via AirPlay/Wi-Fi connection with lossless Spotify stream... after tweaking EQ to my liking the sound is outstanding (be sure to use native Edifier EQ for this, not Spotify or others because that's what will align with the hardware DSP...). That said, I found Edifier's "Dynamic" EQ pre-set to be really good as well... anything from EDM, Electronica, Focus tunes, to R&B, etc. sounds great. I do use remote to control it alongside iPad... remote has more precise volume adjustments vs iPad's buttons... so far a month of playing it daily for 5-8hrs every day has been great. Matches my somewhat "retro / mid-century modern" office aesthetics well. Base if very strong and deep for such small unit. I have FeltRight acoustic panels on one of the walls that make the room echo-free otherwise I'd have to tune the lows down it's that strong. Oh and at $280 when on sale made it a no-brainer! Highly recommend..

Ottimo suono

Ottima qualità audio. Ottimi bassi. Si sente molto bene anche a volume basso. Diffusione del suono ottima anche se proviene da un unico apparecchio

Great purchase for audiophiles

Great quality hi-fi sound. But you have to download the edifier app and use the equalizer to raise treble and lower bass from factory "dynamic" settings. Once that's done oh it's amazing. Great connectivity options, wifi, bluetooth and USB C. Tried them all and all work great. Usbc is the best but bluetooth is already great. I paired it with my tv as well, works great. Great look too, vintage and high quality. Love the dials and the remote. Great purchase, meant for someone looking for some audio sessions to listen to great quality sound. But versatile to be used as a sound bar, and even like a small house party as it can get loud with good bass.
