Fantastic kit for Canadians, great eartips selection.
The iem are very well made and the coffee coloured ones are stellar looking. The nice quality cable (fantastic q-lock system) is a little microphonic (you can hear it rubbing against your cloths during quiet sections) but not a deal breaker for me as the clip that come with helps a lot. The tip selection is top shelf. Using the S&S on the Titans and the candy tips on my Simgot ew300 which accounts for $70 of the cost of you're buying in Canada. The case is excellent as well. Now for the real value of user reviews, the sound. Absent any EQ magic, the Titan S2 deep bass is missing and mid bass is a bit light. Almost a deal-breaker but saved by the mids. Lower mids are good, mid mids (goofy but applicable) and upper mids are VERY good with voices sounding neutral and natural. Treble is where things get dangerous. Upper treble gets taken to the edge of falling into sibilance, a big middle finger in my book but never actually crosses over. Cymbal crashes also threaten to become the audio equivalent of chewing on tinfoil but end up just sounding energetic and that's the keyword for describing the treble here, energetic. This iem isn't for Apple users but Android, Windows and Linux are invited to the party. Overall the Titan S2 is begging for EQing and it accepts it readily! A few tweaks in Poweramp Equalizer (Android's super power) and they come alive. I haven't seen another iem, earbud or headphone transform so much. Tight bass with good extension into the sub basement. Great sounding vocals, male and female. Soaring guitars, synths and shimmering cymbals. They really can punch above their price point with an EQ tweak. Also, after many 4 hours listening sessions, this Titan just owns rock! Even dodgy recordings are very listenable. The most source forgiving IEM or headphone I've ever listened to. If you power with even a Google dongle and I did just to see, one tweak in Poweramp Equalizer and it's an absolute experience. Bottom line is this needs to be looked at as a beg
