Wonderful Handheld But With Some Issues
I really want to love my new TrimUI game console but there are a few things that I need to explore more and address about the game console unit that I received. The good: it’s high quality, feels heavy and expensive, has long battery life and a beautiful OLED screen w well designed user interface w many features. The bad: there are “no games present” in the categories for Nintendo/Famicom, GameBoy, GameBoy Advance, SuperNintendo/SuperFamicom, and in my favorite section, PC-Engine, the ROMs only worked for the first couple of days. Now there are many ROMs that just do not load and return to the main screen. This happens in many categories and hope it’s an inconsistency with my specific unit. I refreshed ROMs, reset factory settings, but sadly these problems still exist. I can’t return so maybe will try purchasing from a different seller a second unit. A bit disappointed as I really want to love this console. I will try to add my own custom SD card with ROMs…and update here as I find out more.
