Fantastic, boujee, powerful and adaptable. The perfect addition for your hair care routine.

I own a few Dyson gadgets including a vacuum cleaner, fan, air purifier and now finally the Airwrap Co-anda2x. My daughter has used it at least once a day since we got it and the experience started with the unboxing. She described it as 'boujee' as it came in a luxury soft touch box inside the outer box. The accessories inside were carefully packed and it just exudes quality. Her hair is long and straight so she went straight into learning how to make her hair wavy and Dyson makes that easy by providing plenty of guidance including setting up a profile for your type of hair. Most impressive of all is the power of the motor. It says it's 30% stronger than previous models with twice as much air pressure, and you can definitely feel the benefit. In a nutshell, there are 6 main features of this amazing device. You can dry, curl, wave, straighten, smooth and volumise. It has everything you need in a single unit. In terms of value for money at £579 (at the time of my review), it isn't cheap, but it is premium quality and it's an incredible addition to your hair care toolkit

Stylish styler.

My wife is a big fan of Dyson’s hair care products; I recently ordered her the new Airsmooth styling brush in ceramic pink/rose gold, and when I saw this upgraded Airwrap in the same colours I decided it would make the ideal Christmas gift. She’s had the original Airwrap for a few years, so I was interested to see what changes and improvements had been introduced with the new Airwrap Co-anda2x. The Airwrap and it’s accessories are supplied in a smart, colour matched case. The most obvious improvement is the size of the plug; it’s still big (as it incorporates the PRCD) but compared to the huge plug on the original, it’s impressively compact. The curling wands have a neat re-design - instead of swapping the attachments to change the direction of curl there’s a tab at the top end which is rotated to achieve the same effect. This kit also includes brushes, hairdryer and straightener attachments - with all of these available, the Airwrap could conceivably manage all her hair-styling tasks. In addition to the improved range of attachments, this new 2x device has an uprated motor, which is noticeably more powerful. It’s also now a Smart device, as it can be connected to the MyDyson app on your phone. Once paired, you answer a series of questions about your hair and style, and the app develops a routine for the Airwrap which can be initiated without needing to go through the settings on the device itself. At time of review this Airwrap kit is priced at almost £580, making it a significant investment; however the improvements over the original, together with its all-round capability and quality make this genuinely worthwhile.

Love Love Love It

I love this Dyson Airwrap Co-anda 2x Multi-styler and Dryer. It's beautifully presented in a gorgeous storage box and the styler and attachments are well made. The styler has 2 buttons to press, for heat and power setting. It heats up very quickly and gives a powerful blast of hot air, which is great. There's also a cool shot to help set the hair during styling. You can even set up your own hair profile with the Dyson app and once done, it remembers your preferences when you use the styler, which is clever. I haven't done this yet, as I was too busy trying everything out on my daughter's hair. After washing and leaving her hair damp, I used the dryer and it was very quick to dry. I then used the anti-snag loop brush to pull it straighter, then I used the air straightener, which left her hair very smooth. Lastly, I tried the the slim curling barrel which added lovely waves. Her hair is naturally wavy but this styling set left her hair looking fab, with the waves more pronounced. The waves stayed in well, however, I did use products during the styling - heat defence spray, hair oil and mousse, which I think helped. Overall, I think this is a brilliant product, premium quality and I can't recommend it highly enough. Well worth the 5 stars.

Excellent for those who can’t curl hair!

Just when I thought the Dyson Airwrap couldn’t get any better they release a new Co-anda2X. I wasn’t sure what the 2X meant but as soon as I turned on I understood! It is powerful. I would go so far as to say it is as powerful as normal hairdryer. This one comes in a beautiful plum coloured storage case. The lid lifts off and if you turn upside down you can store the attachments and clips etc and there is a phone stand so you can stand your phone up when using in conjunction with the app. Attachments wise you get the dryer, 2 curling cones, flat brush, round brush and straightener tool. My favourite is the flat brush. I really wanted to love the straightener but I find even on slowest setting it blows my hair everywhere and you can’t use to curl - just straighten as it pulls on my hair. The 2 curling wands are pretty good, one gives waves and the other full on curls. It’s better to have damp hair to help the curls set. As it is more powerful than the standard Airwrap, it dries the hair whilst curling much better and hair can be wrapped a bit more wet as well. The app is straightforward. Download for your App Store and follow the instructions. You just need the serial number and purchase date to add to your product list. It was easy to pair to my Co-anda2X to my phone just 1 click of the cool burst button. It will then ask you a series of questions about your hair. It will use this information to store your hair curling profile. You get a practice go and then this is stored. What amazed me is you don’t have t press anything on your air wrap. Once turned on, it wraps your hair, then changes to the styling setting and then gives the cool blast before turning off. It’s brilliant as I was finding it faffy pressing all the buttons! This is an expensive piece of kit at £580 and is definitely a large purchase. I can’t curl my hair normally but this does add curls to my hair and with the help of hairspray they do stay in. Amazing and versatile hair styler

The Dyson Airwrap Co-anda2x looks like a great option for anyone who wants to achieve different hairstyles without having to buy several separate styling tools. I really like the idea of having a hair dryer, curling tool and straightening options all in one device, especially when space and convenience are important. One of the biggest attractions is the improved motor, which Dyson says is 30% more powerful than the previous generation. The stronger airflow is designed to help dry hair faster and create curls that last throughout the day. Having that extra power while still using airflow based styling rather than relying entirely on traditional hot plates is a big part of what makes the Airwrap range appealing. The intelligent attachments are another welcome feature. The main consideration is the premium price associated with Dyson styling products, so it is worth thinking about how often you would use all these features. Overall, this looks like an impressive, versatile hair styling system with some genuinely useful technology.
