Good product
Grandson loves these. Good products and would recommend.
Fun Dinosaur building toys.
These dinosaurs are fun toys, but the quality feels a little on the light side. I think the plastic is on the lighter side and not super durable. I think it's partly because the texture of the plastic is smooth. Part of the fun for this toy is that you have to put the dinosaurs together. Each one comes with a few pieces that snap in place. The instruction sheet has some nice illustrations that will be easy for a 5- or 6-year-old to follow. I think once they are together, you can't undo it to remake it again at a different time. I plan on giving this to my grandson, who LOVES all dinosaurs for Christmas. I'm sure he will be absolutely delighted with these because kids don't care about quality - well, that is until the toy breaks. I don't think these will break right away. I hope they stand up better than I think they will, just by looking at them. As for the price, coming in at $20, it might be a little steep for what you are getting; therefore, I think the value is only OK. I'm still giving 5 stars because I think once these are together, they will be more impressive and have more play value.
Good
My toddler absolutely loves these and is still playing with them weeks after having first received them, which is unusual. They both have moving parts, including the tails, but the spinosaurus' head moves too and it has legs. Unfortunately, the fins of the mosasaurus keep coming out, which is very frustrating and consequently, my toddler is not as enamoured with that one, but still plays with it. I tried putting tack onto the fins, but that didn't work, so I shall have to glue them in, which will prevent any movement, but will at least make it look right again. The spinosaurus' limbs also have a tendency to come out, but not quite as easily and they are generally easier to find again. Besides, a spinosaurus has to be able to walk, so I won't glue those in place. Fun, but could do with better manufacturing and consequently, slightly on the pricey side. Still, with duplo-style notches on the back of the mosasaurus, a figurine has already been taken for a ride.
Two for one!? Yes!
If your child is obsessed with dinosaurs and Legos, this is an amazing item for them! Not only do they get to build with Lego style toys; they’re making dinosaurs like in Jurassic Park. Both of the dinosaurs were easy enough to construct when you follow the directions; I can say my six-year-old definitely needed assistance in doing so however he is also pretty young to just hand a package of Legos and expect him to do it correctly. This is a great value since you get two dinosaurs. The parts are well molded and click together nicely. This has provided hours of entertainment and quiet time in otherwise very busy household.
Good
Easy for younger builders
