I looked through tons of bags before landing on this one. It seems to do the job nicely. Goal: fit the most amount of items into bag. Constraints: Frontier Airlines size limits 🤢 I’m sure many of you are in the same position as me. Found a cheap flight, got a bit skiddish when it came to the allowed item size. Now you find yourself looking for a backpack that fits the bill. I mean, even a $30 backpack is less than the $70 (!) to carry a bag on (140 if you’ve booked a round trip). I’m here to report that this one is perfectly adequate for your use case. The material seems nice and high quality. the straps allow you to compress the contents a bit more than you otherwise could. and the multitude of pockets make it easy to organize your essentials. I could take or leave the built-in charger cable. It’s a good idea, but it would be more useful if it were Type-C. I was pretty conservative when packing for a weekend trip. 3-4 shirts, 3 underwear, 4 socks, 2 shorts, a pair of jeans, and my toiletries. My girlfriend was much less conservative and really tested the limits of the bag. both of ours fit into the dreaded personal item size crate.

i bought this bag to be my only form of luggage for a 4 night 5 day trip in florida and i wear almost all over sized clothing (1x-2x) and managed to fit 2 pairs of pajamas (two shirts and two shorts) 2 pairs of shorts a skirt an oversized knit cardigan a mesh cardigan full makeup bag canvas pull string backpack a small purse all my undergarments and then some two sets of leg warmers 2 camis multiple costume head bands ( we were in florida for halloween horror nights) a fully built miniature lego tiger shot glass souvenirs A framed picture a stuffed animal and all my necessary chargers, medication, glasses toiletries etc tbh the only con i have is the shoe compartment bc it goes into the book bag area and takes up almost all the room in the main compartment of the bag but other then that this is my new go to personal item for planes and my new favorite bag for travel in general the materials sturdy, zippers sturdy, multiple compartments and opens up completely so it’s easier to get to all your things when it comes to living out of it for 5 days and for how much you can stuff into the bag it doesn’t kill your back after carrying it around for long periods of time 10/10 recommend
Best Travel Backpack!
I absolutely love this travel backpack. It fits shows , books, and many other items. I will not travel without it. It’s perfect. A must have!! I love the color too.
Great travel backpack
I got this bag for a 4-day trip to Chicago. I didn't want to bring a full suitcase, as I was only using public transit and didn't want to deal with a heavy rolling suitcase on busses and trains. This bag was perfect. I managed to find a set of packing cubes which squeezed into the bag well and allowed me to pack all of the clothes I needed for the trip, and left enough room in the top of the bag to shove in a little pillow for my overnight train rides to and from the city. I was able to organize all of my toiletries in the interior pockets, and fit masks and feminine pads in the front zippered pockets. I also fit a thin foldable bag into an interior pocket which I used for bringing home souveniers, as I had packed this bag to the max. I liked the side buckles and felt they helped the bag feel more sturdy and compressed. There are a few negatives to the backpack. The cushions on the straps are not very soft and didn't do much to lessen the strain of the bag on my shoulders. The cross-chest strap is very narrow and was not comfortable for me, even though I am a petite woman with a narrow frame. The side "water bottle" pocket is absurdly small, and I have yet to find a water bottle that would actually fit in it. I did use it to pack a couple granola bars and a pouch of applesauce, but anything more than that would not fit. All in all this is a great backpack and is perfect for short trips or as a carry-on/personal item in addition to a larger bag. It's cute, and it held up well to being stuck under train seats and tossed around city busses and L trains. I'll definitely continue to use it on my trips going forward.
Best travel bag ever!!!
Okay this bag is actually amazing!!! I got the smaller size. I took it for a 5 day trip to Orlando and it was able to fit all my clothes, toiletries and a pair of flip flops. I wore my bulky outfit to the airport and packed light. I did use the small amazon basics packing cubes. I also did pack pretty light. I packed 4 biker shorts, 5 shirts, 6 socks and 6 pairs of underwear and a pair of pajamas. I wasn’t able to bring my makeup. I could only fit my travel size skincare, deodorant and hair products/travel size hair brush and my small adidas crossbody bag which had my wallet and phone. But the pockets help utilize all the space. This bag is able to fit the personal item requirements for both Frontier and Spirit airlines - just make sure you buy the smaller size. All together its pretty amazing carry on and can definitely fit a lot if you’re good at organizing/packing. I definitely recommend getting packing cubes as this will help fit more stuff and packing efficiently.
