Amazing if brand new!
Before the review, I had to order this card twice. The first BRAND NEW card Amazon sent me had a ripped up box with very obviously opened stickers. The 2nd card arrived factory sealed and in perfect condition. So be careful and inspect what you receive! This card is WAY too expensive right now, but performance-wise this thing is an absolute monster! I ordered the XFX Mercury OC w Mag Fans previously, but the vram ran sooo hot. Turns out the Mercury, despite having the best cooling setup on 9070 XTs (vapor chamber) it uses Hynix memory. Why is this potentially a problem? Well, the Hynix ram is a little bit faster than the Samsung ram used on other cards, but it runs so much hotter! For example, this Quicksilver uses Samsung memory. At the exact same timings, undervolt, power % increase, etc., the Mercury memory ran at 90c+, and this Quicksilver runs at 76c TOPS. I have never seen it hit 80c, even under full load running 3DMark Steel Nomad stress test. For my money, this is the best card specifically because of the Samsung memory.

Superbe carte graphique
Offrant des performances comparables, voire supérieures à la RX 7900 XTX, cette carte se distingue également par un ray tracing plus efficace et la prise en charge du FSR4, un upscale de grande qualité. Enfin ! Elle affiche une consommation située entre 300 et 400 watts tout en restant silencieuse. Content de mon achat.

Meine erste Radeon-Karte seit über 15 Jahren – und ich bin begeistert.
Unter Vollast ist sie hörbar, aber nicht so, dass es unangenehm auffällt. Die Leistung ist ansonsten wie erwartet. Die Karte läuft bei mir unter Linux (EndeavourOS). Mit einem aktuellen Kernel 6.13.7 und Mesa 25.0.1 wird die Karte automatisch erkannt und ich konnte keine Probleme feststellen. Nach der Installation von AMDVLK läuft auch Vulkan hervorragend. In einigen wenigen Spielen (z.B. SW: Fallen Order) treten mit Proton Artefakte auf. Vermutlich Treiberprobleme, die mit der Zeit sicher behoben werden. Ich habe von ähnlichen Problemen mit dem Spiel und anderen Radeon-Karten gelesen, die stets nach kurzer Zeit gefixt wurden. Ich habe die Karte knapp über UVP (~780 €) bekommen – ein klarer Pluspunkt, besonders so kurz nach dem Release und angesichts der aktuellen Mondpreise bei anderen 9070XTs. Bin alles in allem sehr zufrieden und kann den Kauf zum UVP uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

I’ve never been more satisfied with a GPU upgrade coming for 7900 GRE. I didn’t need to dive into archaic menus or calibrate anything. Just one toggle, and the colors pop like they should. 3. XFX: Thermal Design That Makes Sense I went with the XFX Quick Silver all-black model, which has a shroud over the GPU hotspot. This simple design detail helps airflow pass more cleanly through the case and lowers my CPU temps a few degrees. Smart, efficient, and clean aesthetics to match. Value That Speaks for Itself On top of all that—I saved $250 by going with AMD. At this performance level, that’s not just savings; that’s value without compromise.
