Great friendly NAS
Great plug and Paly NAS, software "app" is easy to navigate and to understand, my only complaint is the the LAN port is 1 Gbps, which is sufficient for light home use but it's slow if you glhave a heavy work to do with it.
Good to go with this for family , small Office etc
If you are worried about saving data for whole family. Than this is One of the best NAS system, can access anywhere. Installed 6+6TB , 2 WD red plus HDD. 4-6 years , Ugreen OS system also good.

Easy-to-use shared storage for a home network
This has been in use now for three months, working flawlessly, I'm very pleased with it. For 10 years I used a small TrueNAS setup, but the hardware was wearing out and I was getting fed up with all the complications in the software that I didn't need. All I want from a NAS is reliable storage for files shared on the home network, accessible from various Windows PCs and Android phones. As a simple shared file store it has been very easy to use and so far completely reliable. I installed two Seagate Ironwolf 3.5" drives and set them up to be mirrored and accessible via SMB, all very quick and easy. The whole unit is very compact, not much bigger than the two drives, and runs entirely silently. Data goes to and from the NAS at the maximum rate of my gigabit network. The NAS recognises my Cyberpower UPS, attached via a USB cable, so I set it to do a controlled shutdown when power is running out, this works well. I haven't needed to do this yet but I believe a replacement disk drive can be hot-swapped for a failing one. There is a good level of support from Ugreen, I had a well-informed next-day response to a query ticket. Several OS updates have arrived and been installed without any problems. The OS default is for the data disks to go to sleep after a period of non-use, but it's easy to change to leave them running 24/7, as is advised for NAS drives like the Ironwolfs. I would point out that this D2300 model is not considered powerful enough for Docker, although it can be installed if you want. The only (small) disappointment for me is that although previous versions of files are easy to access and retrieve using the Snapshot app, this function does not integrate with the Windows Previous Versions feature as it does in TrueNAS. Generally I'm happy that this NAS is reliable, simple to use and good value.
A Very Good NAS with a Lot of functionality
I previously had a WD MY Cloud which WD (Western Digital) stopped supporting. I did my research and for me this was in my price bracket. I had a couple of 1gb SATA drives spare. The initial setup is great, set by set guidance even when create a Volume for the disks The setup is really easy and the Dashboard it very easy to manage and add new users which creates their own personal spaces. What I also love is the apps, Theater, you can share movies with the people you have shared the NAS Drive, the app is really good, if you update the Data Source in the app you get The Move Database which gives you a host of information like Poster artwork, Actors in that movie, you can select the actor and it will give info on that actor, it's like IMDB on the NAS. Music App is ok, it's like any other Music app, create your own Play list etc. I have Music & Movies as a Shared folder, but when others connect they will see the Shared plus their own Private folder. I can also sync my O365 One Drive as well, you can I think from memory Drop Box and others. There's also an App Centre with around 24 apps.
Brilliant NAS Drive, outstanding OS
Had this a few months and it's just great, have it 2TB WD HDD x 2 mirrored and a 500GB SSD plugged in the USB C , some really nice software features on the photos using AI and I love the way it links to cloud drives like OneDrive or Google and can even syncronise auto back ups on your choice of folders monthly etc, have it on my phone, tablet and desktop, never fails to log in, myriad choice of settings and transfer speeds are fine, it's great to store data heavy 4k Go pro footage, very quiet, I like the way Ugreen constantly improve and update the OS with new features. Really very impressed with every aspect.

Got two on a deal at £145 each (Amazon & direct from UGREEN), which was reasonable for the specs. Only had a week, so can't comment on long term performance but so far everything is behaving as a reliable NAS should with my 2 x 8TB drives. The OS is really good, not perfect mind you as there a few features I'd like added and UI/UX improvements, but overall very user friendly and super simple to setup. Runs quietly too, can't hear the fan at all even when writing/reading 2TB of mixed data - the only noise you get is the mechanical drives when active, which are near impossible to get silent in any NAS, it's just the nature of the beast. Regarding Docker, some users are saying it's disabled, this is technically not true. It's not available directly from the UGOS App Store on the NAS, but you can manually install it. Grab the DH4300 PLUS Docker App from the UGREEN website and install it on the DH2300 (this NAS), works no problems. Got Tailscale VPN via Docker working great on it too. Why not 5 start? - Docker does work if manually installed, so it's disappointing of UGREEN to remove from App Store. SORT IT OUT UGREEN! We both know it works, just add a disclaimer to cover yourselves if needs must.. - 1Gbps port is fine on my network and needs, but it would of cost UGREEN a few pennies more to have a 2.5Gbps port instead. - Needs a bit more UI/UX love. It's good, but could be better in some areas. For example like Photo Albums, there should be multiple options to change the view type and they should have DARK MODE available for the UI. Minor nitpick below - The top has a magnetic removable cap to insert your drives in, but its too weak. When I first grabbed it (by the top cap), I nearly dropped the whole NAS Overall I recommend if you are looking for a price friendly NAS, as it is dead simple to setup and use. This isn't one for Enterprise User mind you, but they've done a good job.
Absolute game changer for sharing large files—so simple to use!
I upgraded to this from a Synology DS124, and the difference is night and day. My old NAS was clunky, awkward, and frustratingly difficult to navigate. This UGREEN unit, however, is an absolute dream. As a drone pilot and photographer, I am constantly handling massive video and photo files that I need to share with clients and community groups. With my old setup, it was always a cumbersome chore. With this, it is beautifully simple: I can just right-click, generate a share link, and send it over. If you want a powerful, streamlined desktop NAS that genuinely makes file management and sharing effortless instead of headache-inducing, I cannot recommend this enough. 5 stars all day long.
