Great case with a not so issue
I bought this case because it helped with my GPU sag and I was tired of the usual white or black options. Assembly was a breeze thanks to the tool-less design, and the ability to easily disassemble everything made cable management great. Space wasn’t an issue, but I wish it were slightly bigger so things didn’t feel so cramped. Airflow ranges from mediocre to good depending on your fans and setup. The case tends to run about 4 degrees hotter than normal due to hotspots and odd airflow, so investing in quality fans is a must. The main drawback is accessing the motherboard and GPU. According to the manual, you need to unplug the top fans, remove two screws, and lift the fan plate to gain access. This becomes a hassle if you frequently plug in USBs, peripherals, or HDMI/DisplayPort cables. My suggestion is to use slim, flexible cables like those from Cable Matters, or do what I did—remove the fan assembly entirely and mount the fans on the bottom. It didn’t affect temperatures at all. Overall, I like the case and plan to keep it, as returning it would be a pain. I think it’s just one revision away from perfection, and I hope Thermaltake addresses the IO access issue in future versions. Also, drop the price—$189 is too steep for this case.
