Good low-profile CPU cooler
Good quality. 9800x3d needs undervolting (-25 in my case), and TDP limitation 100W. In these settings the temperature is maximum 70-72 C, often even less.
Low profile good cooling but fan a little noisy
Fits perfectly in my ITX case so the fan is right up against the bottom of the power supply. The original fan was a little noisy so I kept the Thermalright heatsink and replaced the fan with an ultra low noise Noctua fan. Even at low RPM this setup keeps a 5700x3d cool and happy.
Great for low profile builds
A great addition to an all white build. All you'll really see is the fan but even the heat pipes and fins are zinc white. On this cooler. Easy to install low profile cooler even for a first time PC builder. Thermal paste is included so you have everything you need. I bought Corsair RAM that was too tall to sit under the cooler in my mini ITX build but luckily this cooler was just barely tall enough to clear the IO shield of my motherboard when rotated 180°. This capable air cooler fits nicely in the Termaltake TR100 case and even just fit when mounted 180 because of too tall RAM. The RGB is compatible with motherboard software like Asrock Polychrome but not with something like Corsair iSync.
Perfect fit for KXRORS S400 case
I mounted this cooler so it's 100% clearance for regular rams and it clears the IO block too. It's a snug fit for the S400 case (the fan is touching the case), which is actually perfect for cooling purpose. The only thing I don't like is the old fashioned fan clips. I'm afraid these clips may scratch the case, so I didn't use them. The snug fit keeps the fan in position when I close the panel. It would be better if they use screws to hold the fan like the ID-COOLING IS-55 (I tried this one too, and it won't clear regular IO block, so low profile rams is a must).
Almost too big
Idk if its just the case im using but it seems closer to 70mm than 67mm because my case is rated for 70 and it is literally touching the side pannel. I dont know if that is because it is up against the vrm heatsinks or what. Even the ram kit in the first pc here probably wouldn't have enough clearance for the cooler though it would be close so keep in mind. Other than that great cpu cooler.
Quiet, good fan
It arrived with one of the corners broken off but I was able to rig it to hold fast even with that. Shipping was a bit slow to me but I wasn't too concerned (only a day or 2 late) The fan itself is quiet and very nice to look at in my case. I have had it for a few months now and it is 100% an upgrade from the fan i had. While I only use 2 RAM sticks, I am worried I won't be able to fit my other 2 as I currently have them in the off slots. 😅
