Fantastic mouse.
I’ve been really impressed with the DeathAdder V4 Pro. The tracking feels incredibly smooth and consistent, and it’s probably the best tracking I’ve experienced on a mouse so far. The 45K sensor and overall responsiveness make it feel extremely precise in-game. The shape is also very comfortable. It’s definitely larger and more ergonomic than something like the OP1 8k V2, but if you like a palm or claw grip, the DeathAdder shape feels really natural. The clicks have a really satisfying feel and the optical switches are extremely responsive. The optical scroll wheel is also a nice upgrade and feels precise. I mainly use it at 1000Hz, so I don’t really take advantage of the 8000Hz polling rate, but it’s nice to have the option. Battery life has also been excellent. Overall, this is a seriously impressive mouse. The combination of the shape, sensor, tracking, clicks, and low weight makes it a great mouse for competitive gaming.
From a well worn DA V2 Pro
First of all i want to say thank you to all the returns so i was able to get a used-like new one and it is actually in like new condition for 120 bucks. Got this one as an upgrade from a 5-6 years old DA V2 Pro. Nothing wrong with the old one, just the side grip corroded badly. Compared to the V2 Pro, the weight is day and night different. This one is much lighter, like feather light, going back to the V2 won't feel the same for me anymore. More ergonomic shape (V2 head is wider). Battery life is insane, i game 3-5H a day for 2 weeks at 1000hz and the battery is still going. Though they shaved off a few things aka the cons to achieve the weight. No more top 2 buttons, no more wireless charging, no light on the logo(could at least do the bare minimum and put a reflective sticker on it), side thumb buttons are pushed back a bit but you will get used to it in no time. Overall, great mouse but premium price. The DA V2 Pro i got on release was about $120 so it is not too bad if you could get a used one in true like new condition for that price range. One last thing: i find it really annoying to unplug the usb-c cord from the sphere dongle and plug it to the mouse to charge. Most of the time, i just use the battery pack to charge the mouse.
Great mouse for gamers

The focus is on function
I like a combination of specification-functionality (what's it got inside that works well) AND construction/material quality. This mouse is not a Mg mouse and that is a gorgeous metal as well as being very light. But this V4 has great electronics and switches, is a very quick performer, and has a decent mid-sized feel. As others have said, if you have particularly small hands and want the mouse to fit well still, then this might be a bit big. But it's not a giant - call it the plus side of medium. The case is solid, pretty much zero creaking and a joy to use. With quite a bit of rubber adhesives all over to my pref, it weighs 58g. My Gravastar XPro 8k is 51g with just the two main buttons covered, as who wants to cover up any Mg body? The button switches are gorgeously "high-frequency digital" sounding, and it will be equal partner to the XPro. Very happy. Not cheap. But fully done in terms of specs.
Nice scroll and clicks
I have owned the previous version DeathAdder V3 pro for nearly 3 years now and I can say that although they essentially look the same, they have a slightly different feel. I love the new tactile click, but my girlfriend hates the sound. Battery life has been a bit longer from my experience VS the V3 version. The scroll bar was probably the most noticeable upgrade along with the clicks. The new dongle is alright, it works well but beyond that I don’t pay much attention to it. If you are debating on spending money on this but you already have the V3 and like it I would just stick with the V3 this is not really worth the additional money unless you sell your V3.
