Small and powerful; great value for money and excellent service.

Original review: So far so good. No issues. Powerful machine. Loving it! Updated after approx 2 months of use: Still loving this and working well. I did have an issue (memory module failed; these things happen) which I was able to diagnose and contacted the seller. They immediately responded with a partial refund so I could replace the part quickly. Excellent service, will use again.

great customer service

The combination of CPU/GPU speed and the full function USB-C were the big sellers to me. The vesa bracket is another good feature. The only thing missing is the 2.5 SSD connector. and with the coupon, this is a great deal.

Good for light tasks; no SATA cable for expansion using 2.5" drive; smooth internet performance

What's included: - Mini PC with Intel N97 - User manual - VESA mounting accessories - HDMI cable Metrics: wifi: Download: 507 Mbps Upload: 611 Mbps SSD: Read 871, Write 866 Mb/s Geekbench Score: Single core: 1209, Multicore: 2998 OpenCL score: 5040 The mini PC by ORIGIMAGIC works quite well for lighter tasks and office oriented work but lacks the power to handle heavy work loads. The mini PC (hereafter referred to as the C1) is equipped with Alder Lake's N97 CPU which comes with better graphics performance than the N100. The C1 is a four core, four thread mini PC and has 16GB of RAM via a single channel setup. This leads to underperformance vs a dual channel setup but does not really impact overall use of the C1 for day to day tasks based on my use. Additionally, there is an M.2 NVME 2280 3x4 SSD with an advertised rate of 3500 MB/s for read speeds and 2550 MB/s for write speeds. In my testing, neither of these figures were realized and the SSD's performance is quite poor given the advertised values. The C1 is made of all plastic and comes with a useful array of ports including USB 3.2 type A ports and a fully functioning type C port which includes video. As a result, this mini PC can use up to 3 displays which I was able to confirm with my two 27" 2560x1440 and single 16" 1600x1200 displays. One of the better aspects of the C1 is the fact that it comes with a 2.5Gbps LAN vs the usual gigabit LAN. This upgrade is useful and future proofs the mini PC. The wifi however is not as robust, with no Wifi 6 system onboard which meant when using the wifi, my speeds for both upload and download were ok but not great. Perhaps my best compliments for this mini PC is the generic style blower fan the C1 comes equipped with. This little blower style fan does a great job at keeping temperatures in check and allows for the N97 to reach its maximum of 3.6Ghz without any thermal throttling which is terrific. I did not test the sound level of the blower style fan under load but its nex

Great for basic tasks and documents processing

If you are here, most likely you already now what to expect performance wise from the intel processor. So, I will not bother talking about it. This mini-PC has great capabilities especially connecting to multiple monitors. That is one of my important things to look for when looking for such a device. I have few old 1080p monitors laying around and they worked well. The performance is decent, the same with the noise and the temperature. I did not notice any lagging or throttling as well as any fan noise. Granted, this pc was mainly used for processing documents as well as remote learning for a young student. The windows version did not have a lot of bloat to it, and I still recommend you do install a fresh copy anyway. Opening the device, I was disappointing that there was nothing to attach a 2.5 inch SSD to. I wanted to increase the storage, and that did not work as I expected. The wifi as well as the SSD performance left much to be desired, but they were not the worst I have seen. My unit also came with one stick of 16GB RAM Overall, as a light work device, this is an excellent miniPC.

Capable mini pc

This is an excellent mini pc for the price. You get Windows 11, 16gb of ram and expandable storage space if you remove the wifi card. You can easily access the inside by simply unscrewing 4 Phillips screws from the bottom of the computer, no need to remove glue or use hard to find screwdriver bits. Build quality is mostly plastic but that also makes it lighter. You can also mount it onto the back of a monitor. Comes with essentially no bloatware, and you can factory wipe it after initializing it to get rid of any hidden software. It's a pretty snappy computer because it comes with an NVME drive and 16gb of ram. However this won't be good for gaming since the onboard graphics are no ideal for that. It's perfect for doing word processing and other data work, and web browsing. You could buy an older office PC, but this one comes in a compact size, NVME storage and the latest version of Windows. Overall good value.

Quick setup, wish BIOS was easier to get into

This machine has better specs than my other MiniPC but nowhere near enough to daily drive. It is shipped with Win11 which is nice and all but I would much rather run a Linux distro on it and use it for a home server. I didn't open it up to inspect but just did a brief check in system info (yes, it is possible to alter it but I'm giving benefit of the doubt) and the specs matched the description. At least, it's significantly faster than my other one. Getting into BIOS required me to run a few powershell commands and then setting up dual boot took a few attempts. Configuring it once again to prioritize the dual boot manager took some more work. It is currently being used as a end point for our VPN project.
